Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre reviews
10Norma only works a few hours a week, but she gave us suggestions that we would never have found. They were great experiences. Thank you Norma.
Initially it was difficult to get anyone to help me. One staff member who only wanted to talk to 2 male tourists made it clear she wouldn’t engage with me. It was a 10 minute wait until another staff person came to help. Eventually got the information I needed but it was like blood from a stone. Other people in the queue thought so too. A bit of a shame.
Beautiful building, really helpful staff (Joy on today was particularly helpful) - bit tricky to find though - perhaps clearer signage? Well worth the visit.
Very informative staff, often call in for pamphlets for different parts of Tasmania and generally the staff are very helpful.
Lots of useful information for travellers. The staff member was very helpful. It also has a virtual reality viewing. I haven't tried it yet, but I would love to sometime in the future.
The lady that helped us was so freindly and helpful with suggestions on what we could do in town and surrounding areas.
So glad we dropped in the Centre
Thank you very much for your help.
Very helpful staff, loads of informative brochures, local artists paintings and metal sculptures.
Ulverstone is like an onion. You have to peel back the layers to find all that is available. The visitor's information centre is a drop in must. Lots of local info. Worth your time.
Staff and Volunteers are eager to assist, the centre has a very welcoming atmosphere however there was an overwhelming aromatherapy smell as you enter to building. Glad I don't have allergies.
