Truffles of Tasmania reviews
16We met the owner in Deloraine Launderette and he said come and have a look. A beautiful Truffle Property, so well done. Had a tasting in their shop and oh so lovely the truffle taste sensations. Thankyou for your info on the truffles and the beautiful labradors. So glad we saw this on our last day in Tasmania.
Super friendly owners and very informative. Beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend stopping by!
Total contrast from where I live, coming back to revisit soon! Truffles of Tasmania experience was a highlight of our Tasmanian trip. They shared their local knowledge and made us feel like family which enhanced our experience. We are returning to join an in-season Truffle Hunt in the coming weeks, look forward to it! Recommend this experience as you get to be apart and understand their way of life.
Loved it, did it with the family every one enjoyed it. Louisa and Geoff made the trip so memorable and it was an all round great experience
I recently had the pleasure of going on a Truffles of Tasmania tour with the owner, Geoff, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From start to finish, Geoff's knowledge and passion for truffles shone through, making the tour not only informative but also enjoyable.
The tour began with a warm welcome from Geoff, who immediately made everyone feel at ease and excited for the day ahead. He shared interesting facts about their cultivation, history throughout the tour.
One of the highlights of the tour was visiting the truffle farm itself. Geoff took time, explaining the process of growing and harvesting truffle.
This truffle tour experience was a highlight to our trip to Tasmania from Queensland.
Love love loved the truffle dog Bindi and our yummy truffle tasting from Julie wow.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about truffles and indulging themselves. Thank you, Geoff & Julie, for our truffle adventure!
Honest & informative overview of products & process. Good products at fair price. No frills. We were allowed to drive around the farm, it was great.
Best tour EVER!
Fantastic in every way, Geoff was a wealth of information, & Louisa @ the truffle shop was so helpfull and informative, the samples were to die for & all the goodies I left with, I CANT WAIT TO TRY THEM ALL!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I very much enjoyed our stop here, Geoff was very knowledgeable & genuine and it was very interesting to learn about the trials and tribulations of the truffle farming process. Can’t wait to try the truffle pepper we purchased.
Hope to visit again in truffle season and that all your plans come to fruition.
Great little shop selling truffle products. All the truffle farms are clustered around the same area so visit a few if you like truffles. All have different options
Popped in pretty late in the arvo to see the farm and learn a bit more about truffles. Learned so much about the farm and the owners and even got a small tour of the farm! More than we expected and loved every moment, such a beautiful property!
Incredible view and lovely place to calm down and relax and new owners in the farm the staff are very kind
Fabulous tour, great place, lovely staff. Informative. Great products to purchase. Loved it and would highly recommend the experience
What an amazing experience this was. So unique and fascinating to learn about. Truffles are still a big part of nature’s mystery, and worth discovering more about from these experts of industry. The dogs are delightful and cute, and the truffles themselves are delicious! So friendly here, and happy to answer any question. Would highly recommend the tour, tasting and visit.
Absolutely horrible. For $160 we got a very brief tour with nothing much to see. No tasting as advertised.
Not much to be done there if u are not taking the tour. The shop has a small selection of truffle products and the farm offers little to do or see.
