Truffle Lodge

Best glamping I’ve ever done. We stayed at the Truffle Lodge for 2 nights in January. Beautiful setting right on the river with unique and thoughtful rooms. The included homemade food is absolutely worth it - with local food used at each meal. Highly, highly recommend.

We based ourselves at gorgeous Truffle Lodge to explore the beautiful Derwent Valley. It is the perfect location to venture out during the day and then unwind in the evenings. Exceptional hospitality, a simple, but delicious menu showcasing Tasmanian produce, peaceful and the views are so pretty! Our thanks to the staff who were all very welcoming, knowledgable and fantastic hosts.

Glamping at its finest. Great setting next to creek with platypus. This is how camping should be, spacious tents with attached bathrooms, big comfy beds and everything you need to unwind.

Our Glamping stay at Truffle Lodge was terrific.

The whole scene was unique for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the variation from a standard hotel environment, taking in the fresh air and listening to the running water of the Derwent River. The comfort of the bed was awesome.

The way the ensuite is fashioned and the layout is awesome. I loved the timber bath option. The whole lodge has a great vibe. We had a great day in the music / reading room spinning old records with a few wines and enjoying the vista.

It is different, it is Glamping. Great Experience!

This is the prettiest place in Australia! The beauty of the area & the the actual lodge itself is something i will never forget. A must on the bucket list!
