Toyworld Hobart

This is a pretty good toy store. It apears as a dreamy world for children with a wide range of products with a wide variety. It seems to me that everything is well organized under one roof, but the prices are a bit inflated. They have good parking facilities and staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Great shop for kids only thing is that it took them so long to choose so many toys in one place

If you have a pram don’t even bother. They have so much stuff on the ground it’s impossible to navigate around.

If the stock on the shelf has a price that differs from the computer, due to staff error, they demand the higher price.

Or you need to speak to the manager who is on a phone call.

And they say, but someone might have swapped stickers. No…… they are anti-tamper Toyworld price stickers.

So beware…. And pay attention as they scan away.

How can you not rate Toyworld 5 star. Superb collection of quality toys! Can be a little pricier but the sheer selection and quality is always a nice treat for well behaved kids or special occasions.

Dec 2021. Toyworld is the dream shopping event for every Hobart Child. The shop has sadly seen much better days, and is now looking quite run down and unloved. The window displays have been sagging for year's and the inside still has an air of motor showroom from the building's heyday. Prices are quite competitive to the local retailers and given the fact it's a dedicated toy store, you're not likely going to enter on a mission for toys, and come out with a new wardrobe and dinner setting too (as you would with department stores). That's a great reason to continue shopping here, that and how your kids eyes light up when you enter the store.

Went looking for amateur Magic Tricks to do with my grandchildren at Xmas. Had a good selection. Staff were very helpful. Reliving my childhood.

One staff member tried to help but didn't really know what they had in stock. Other staff member shrugged.

Terrific range of games, toys, dolls and construction kits! And very helpful staff to help you choose! Always parking in front or next door, a boon in busy Hobart! And a snack store right o n the corner, in case you're worn out from shopping!

Who doesn't like a toy store:) they had some great specials and clearance items when we visited - some 50% off. Staff are always polite and friendly.

As you would expect a huge range of toys.but could introduce some not so mainstream toys.everything on the whole is over packaged. But good that Hobart has this store in a handy location.

Glad to shop conventionally and support local traders, Toyworld is made for grandparents, wide range, good quality, fine service.
