If you're hanging out for a BBQ or maybe a stroll around the park with the dog or maybe a jog around the dam or some live music get all that at Tolosa Street Park

A credit to the local council for maintaining this very large open space for the general public. The skate park was busy with many having fun there. The shelters can be booked for a fee. We had a kitchen, bathroom, and another room to gather in. A BBQ is provided and a large undercover outdoor area with seating and tables. Site 15. It was all very clean

A really nice public space. The grounds are very clean and tidy and well-maintained. The BBQ we used for our group was very clean and worked perfectly - very hot! The council do a great job. The facilities are in good repair. Parking is very easy. The toilets are pretty typical of public toilets but no issues. A mother wallaby and her joey came pretty close and was curious about our hoops game.

Ok for a small event. No good in wet weather. Grass soon turns to mud. Minimal parking and limited access soon creates huge traffic problem.

A great place for a get together or Barbacue. I cannot see why peoole are not allowed to walk their dogs there on a lead. So Ideal for oldies in that situation very environmental. Very user friendly.

Quiet and peaceful open from 10am, gates were open at 9am. Parked under a tree viewing the water in the dam and used toilet facility. BBQ facilities, huts and playground, walking, sport ground, rural setting.

Facilities are becoming quite dated, particularly the bubble playground. The location and cabins are great for BBQs and picnics, and there are toilets available nearby all the cabins. With some refurbishing to the playgrounds, this park eould be 5 stars

It's a beautiful Park having a small dam. The only issue is alot of wallobies waste in grass areas.

Tolosa Park is a nice spot for a walk or to take the kids for a barbecue. There are open sheds available around the dam. The walk is well worth while with plenty of wallabies and a plethora of bird life to keep you busy.
In the heart of Hobart’s Northern suburbs it’s a good little get away

Great parklands, a shame the reservoir drained as so much potential here for picturesque recreation

Hobart residents are so lucky to have this MTB track in their backyard. The ride to Junction Cabin is all uphill but then you have a long downhill ride back to the car

This is a really nice place to come and do some walking and have a BBQ then count the wildlife. There is a child playground and a skate bowl. 9noy a few minute's from glenorchy and around 20 minutes from the city a great place to bring the family

Great place to take a big group and have a BBQ.
Hut booking is essential and keep a copy of your booking with you.

When picking which hut will work best for your group
A) how many guests are coming - it is tassie, it will likely rain so sufficient undercover area is a must!
B) decide if you value being close to a kids playground or the toilet example: the walk to the toilet can be hard for the elderly

Facilities are clean and well maintained.

I have reduced a star reduced due to the fact the water reserve has been emptied and looks unsightly. Beautiful location otherwise.

Tolosa Park is a lovely spot for the kids to play, and family to enjoy a nice BBQ together. Most areas have shelter, and an area for kids to burn of their energy. The only thing letting this place down now is the fact the water reservoir is now just a big dry hole. Hopefully something good is put to use there as this now let's the park down. Apart from that a great family hang out.

The reservoir is dam near gone. Plenty of sites for family barbeques though. Plenty of space for energetic kids to run and mini play areas close to sites. You can reserve your favourite space with Glenorchy City council. No dogs allowed however
