Toffeemont Alpacas

Highly recommended when you are in Hobart. Janelle is very lovely and informative. Got so many selfies with Alpaca.

If you want to get up close and personal with alpaca, this is your opportunity. The tour guide was incredibly informative and kind. We got a lot of value and knowledge in this tour. We finished with a lovely tea.

We would highly recommend the tour at Toffeemont Alpacas. It was a real treat, and Byron, Janelle, and Maddie were extremely kind and knowledgeable hosts. The dogs and alpacas were adorable, and we can definitely see why their alpacas are winning ribbons at shows.

Omg our family had the best time. They are the cutest and cudliest things ever, 90mins of feeding and patting while asking questions of the hosts. Lovely plate of food afterwards and hand-knitted alpaca products to purchase! What more could you want

This was one of the best animal encounters we have ever experienced. We were greeted by two small and friendly dogs, followed by Janelle, one of the owners. She gave us clear instructions on how to behave around the alpacas and how to feed them. We had a great time feeding the alpacas, patting them amd taking photos with them. Janelle is very passionate and knowledgeable about alpacas and we learned a lot about them. She was great with our primary school-aged girls, who had a wonderful time. The alpacas were gentle and beautiful, and it was so special to be able to get so up close to them.
When we finished feeding the alpacas, Janelle had even prepared afternoon tea for us to enjoy!

We had a wonderful experience at Toffeemont Alpacas and highly recommend the tour! We were able to meet a variety of alpacas and feed them. Along the tour, our hosts drew from their many years’ experience of raising alpacas to share more about these alpcas, why they raise them, and how alpacas live! They (the hosts and alpacas) were very welcoming, informative, and attentive to us. The alpacas are used to human interaction and friendly - some are timid, but some allow cuddles!

The tour also ended with some cakes, fruits and hot drinks for tea:)

We booked the standard farm tour and it was so much fun, the alpacas had great temperaments and it was a very memorable experience.i would highly recommend booking here for a couple, family or any group! The owner janelle was very kind to prepare a nice morning tea for us, and answer all of our questions.definitely go if you’re ever in hobart!

My husband and I had a wonderful time interacting with and learning so much about alpacas this morning! Janelle's love for the alpacas shows in how well she takes care of each of them. We are missing the alpacas, Rosie the diva, and Bella and Molly already!

Had the best time visiting toffeemont alpacas. Owners are such knowledgeable, kind and down to earth people with beautiful animals. Highly recommend you visit in any trip to tassie or even as a local.

Janelle was a darn good guide and super knowledgeable about alpacas! Her alpacas (especially the females ones) are one of the friendliest I've met; all super friendly and cuddly and don't mind you petting them or taking multiple selfies! The alpaca products from her store were also of superb quality - just a touch and you know it's much better than selling at Salamanca or elsewhere. Highly recommended to give the tour a try! After-tour tea, coffee, and small bites provided which is a huge brownie point!

One of the best experiences ever) The tour was so personable and informative - my friends and I learnt so much about alpacas from this tour. We also had loads of fun feeding and interacting with many alpacas. Afternoon tea was provided as well. Visted Toffeemont Alpacas in July and enjoyed ourselves tremendously! The tour was informative and we get to really interact closely with the alpacas. Had an amazing experience with the alpacas. A must visit for everyone in Tasmania. This is a hidden gem of an experience.

This tour was so fun, informative and interactive! Janelle shared with us her knowledge about alpacas while we fed, touched and played with them. There's also Molly and Bella, the two playful puppies on site which made this tour even more cute! After the tour, light refreshment would be served and you could also shop for some handmade alpaca items done by Janelle (the quality was sooo good and soft!). This tour may be slightly expensive to some but my husband and I think it's 110% worth it! Try it and you will love it!

Janelle was really friendly during the tour and we got to feed and pat the alpacas which was very cute! Would recommend!
