Our visit to Tiny Escapes was amazing; we were highly anticipating this as being the highlight of our trip and were not disappointed. The accommodation was fantastic and the view was worth every dollar spent. It is rare to find a hidden gem where you feel you are completely off grid and have your own special slice of nature all to yourselves (especially without a 4WD) ; Tiny escapes managed to achieve this. If you are contemplating booking, this is your sign to click the 'book' button.
Room was amazing, all the amenities you require + a heater that kept the accommodation very warm (very important factor when talking Tasmania and mountains)

Awesome Tiny House to stay around Cradle Mountain areas. It is not too far out from the visitor centre (est 20mins drive) which gives you a good disconnect vibes from crowded areas. We love the outdoor fire place where we took countless photos (us being from Singapore:) playing with campfire and drinking hot tea in the cold.

The Tiny House (we stayed in Mrytle) is not small in our eyes. It has a great comfortable living room with a heater, nice bathroom, kitchen and a loft bedroom where we spent 2 nights in. For 2 pax occupancy, would highly recommend Myrtle, Waratah, Dogwood as they are deep inside the property on-top of hillsides.

Almost perfect getaway home. It had everything we needed. Loved the fireplace and the outdoor bathtub. The bathroom was very spacious and the heated flooring was seriously amazing. Beds were comfortable, but you may just end up falling asleep on the luxe leather couch. We stayed in Blackjack which was situated near the entry of the property and on the way to the laundry, so you will at rare times see other guests drive past. However, there are lots of little trees planted at the front, so once they've grown it'll provide more privacy and make this a perfect stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Tinys! We stayed at the cabin with the mountain view, and we were mesmerised by that view each morning. The place was super clean. It had all the necessities. The tiny houses are super cute and cozy. You can say that it was planned out well. I generally don't like to stay at the same place twice but Tiny Escapes will be an exception.

Beautiful location and really thoughtfully equipped tiny houses. Nice and warm on a cold night, with everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The outdoor fires with a camp kitchen was a nice touch.

We recently booked 3 nights at Blackjack and it was a wonderful stay. Located approx. 15 minutes drive to the Cradle Mountain Visitors' Centre, you get to be pretty much away from most other people.

Accommodation was clean, well-maintained & very spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped and had almost everything one could need to prepare most meals. Complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits was a nice touch. There was ample firewood for both fireplace & outdoor campfire, although we didn't get to try the campfire owing to the weather.

The outdoor bathtub could be filled with more than ample hot warm, making a nice soak in the cold weather. There is an outdoor space heater too if you would like to enjoy some alfresco dining or chill on the verandah.

Was impressed that the internet connection was decent given the location, and we were able to stream movies with few issues.

For anyone considering a stay Tiny Escapes, do note the following,
- Laundry is a common facility about 80m from Blackjack. Other units are at least a 4-5 min drive on gravel roads
- Wifi is only available at Blackjack (at time of stay)
- Could not get mobile reception for Optus. Telstra was ok (at time of stay)
- For Blackjack: there is only 1 toilet in the unit. Planning maybe require if more than 2 people are staying
- Access road to the smaller units can be narrow and steep, of gravel, unsealed type. May be daunting for drivers unaccustomed to such conditions, especially when it is dark & wet.

Overall, a great stay with easy access to the Cradle Mountains at similar prices. Different units offer different experiences, between the space & views of the valley!

Tiny Escapes was absolutely excellent - you get what you pay for. We didn't want to leave!

We stayed in the Myrtle accommodation for two nights for a romantic getaway. We had breathtaking views out over the valley. It was quiet, clean, had excellent facilities, and was so well prepared. We were so impressed with the design, details and how well though out everything was. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials including gas stove, great hot water in shower, laundry facilities, gas heating, outdoor fire pit, etc. They also supplied cookies, tea/coffee, white linen and towels, some games, nice soap/shampoo etc, which was a nice touch.

Only very small things to note before coming which could be improved - no Wifi/very limited phone reception (despite there being a router in the accommodation) and needing to boil water before drinking.

Love, love, loved our stay here. So serene and peaceful. We only spent 1 night and would have loved to stay longer. We stayed in Hillside - myrtle. A nicely self-contained space with gas cooktop and everything you need to enjoy your stay and cook your own meal.

There is plenty of wood chopped for the outdoor fire, which we enjoyed using. The heating inside is excellent and warms up the unit very quickly. Beds are so comfortable, we didn't want to get up.

The unit is stocked with lovely amenities - the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was amazing. They also use 'Zero Co' cleaning and laundry products, which I love as it is reducing single use plastics. The complimentary coffee was delicious too! Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh.

Tiny Escapes staff communicate very well through text and are super responsive to any enquiries. Laundry facilities are available for guest use although we aren't a fan of the 'heat-pump' dryer as they take hours to dry anything. Washing machine was good though.

Highly recommend for a relaxing, stunning stay only 15 minute drive from Cradle Mountain visitor centre. We hope to be back!

I stayed in the Waratah Tiny Cabin for one night, and for a two week visit from WA, I wish I could have just spent the entire 2 weeks here. Amazing modern cabin with an amazing view! Would happily live there and will definitely be back!

Amazing place. Our family stayed in the two bedroom cottage. There wasn't a mountain view from this cottage (lovely forest view) but some amazing views from the other tiny cottages.

Kids had a lot of fun exploring and we enjoyed a nice walk throughout the surrounding forest.

Tiny escapes are approximately a 15 to 20 min drive to the nearest restaurant and the closest supermarket is around 40 mins, so ensure you stock up on food before you arrive.

Our cottage was virtually brand new, great kitchen and everything you need for a brilliant escape. There is a fireplace indoors and a firepit outside. There is a separate laundry within Tiny Escapes if required, but not within the cottage.

Would recommend for a family seeking a great Tassie experience! Check-in experience was seamless and friendly.

Thanks for the great experience Tiny Escapes.

This place is absolutely lovely, the view from our cabin was breathtaking and we really enjoyed our stay.
We struggled a little getting back up the driveway in our ute as the gravel was loose so I would recommend making sure you have car that handle that would be good (or park a little further from your cabin).

One of the highlights of ours first road trip in Tasmania!

The tiny home has everything you need, everything is well designed and beautiful!
As you walk through the area, you can feel a sense of calmness and serenity. In the night, take a few steps out and feel the night.

Definitely will be back to again the next time we are going to cradle mountain!

Fantastic off grid cabin's. Extremely warm and cosy. Only have Telstra signal boosters in your cabin, if that's a issue. Stayed during wild storms the rest of the area had no power but we were fine in solar, battery powered cabin!

This is a stunning property we needed to switch off for a few days and this is a great spot to do just that! I walked for over an hour each morning and didn't see or hear a soul it's tranquillity at its best. We stayed in Blackjack which is beautifully designed and the outdoor bath is a must we will return thank you @Tinyescapes x

Tiny escapes was truly fabulous. We stayed in the Myrtle cabin from the 31st March - 2nd April. The cabins have everything that you will need, it was super comfortable. The finishes have been carefully thought out and the views are to die for. It was about a 25 minute drive to the Cradle Mountain visitor centre so the perfect place to stay to enjoy the outdoors and the best of Cradle. Thanks for having us!

My partner and I enjoyed this beautiful tiny home in the mountains. It was so secluded and well built. The tiny home had everything we needed. You could tell a lot of time went into these builds making sure they had the best views possible. There was even a little assisted bush walk down to the river beneath. Highly recommend! Classy!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Tiny Escapes. Brand new accomodation amongst the trees with everything we needed. The fire pit was such a highlight. There’s no grocery stores nearby so make sure to stock up before arriving. We will be back for sure!

A big highlight of our Tassie trip! We stayed in the Waratah tiny house and the views were stunning, the drive up alone was stunning with cute red toadstools lining the driveway - almost fairytale like! The amenities were fantastic and the tiny houses are well built - really wish we’d stayed longer! Thank you

This was by far the highlight of our Tasmania trip. Brand new accommodation, completely off the grid with everything you need. Amazing views with the house located right in the mountains. There were lots of cooking utensils and amenities plus a lovely outdoor fire. You will need to bring your own groceries as there are no local food options. Would definitely stay here again, we wished we had booked for longer!
