The Truffle Farm Tasmania

Absolutely fantastic tour. Although price may cause some hesitation, it is well worth it and highly recommend. Anna is a wealth of knowledge, and her passion shows.
The digging/hunting itself doesn't take very long 20-25min max. But the quality of the information, expertise, professionalism and doggos made it a fun and unique experience.

Went on a truffle tour with Anna yesterday and it was fabulous! Honestly the best tour in Tasmania we have done by far. The staff were so friendly, informative and engaging. Tour included a talk describing the farm's history, the truffle growing processes, followed by a hunt for a truffle or five and a tasting of truffle pizza, and several dips and sauces. Couldn't recommend enough!

We made a quick stop here to taste their truffle products. Bought almost one of everything they were so delicious. Love to come back for a truffle hunt.

We had a fabulous afternoon with Anna and the pups truffle hunting. It was the highlight of our trip. Anna was an absolute delight, which made the experience so relaxed and fun. Having never tried truffle before, the serving was generous, as you can see by the pizza she did not hold back. Safe to say, it was delicious! Have told everyone to add it to your list of must do's whilst in Tassie.

MUST DO IN TASMANIA! The best experience I had during our one week stay. We did the truffle hunt and lunch experience. Anna was incredible. You can see the passion she has and took us through the journey her family went through. The truffle dogs were so cute and lovely to be around. We were able to actually use our hands and dig for truffles. It was magical experience and learnt a lot about truffles too! Worth it

Just had the best tour of the truffle farm. Anna was very informative and demonstrated digging up of truffles. We all dug a truffle or two uo then enjoyed a cheese pizza with truffle grated over it.

Brilliant. Beautiful presentation. Highly informative. Great products. Perfect and lovely packaging. Sad we didn’t have time for a truffle hunt with Poppy or Bruno or sample Anna’s delicacies. So we will just have to plan a return visit.

The truffle hunt is a very unique experience. The truffle lunch is a must try when visiting Tasmania.

Great experience in a nice atmosphere. We found the tour quite informative and enjoyed it. Ours was without lunch. For most of the tour we were sitting and just listening to Anna explaining how the business started and the challenges they had at the beginning. Then we started the truffle hunt! We lined up behind each other and taking turn digging the truffle out once the dog finds it. The whole thing was about 15 minutes and 20 meters of walking for our group which was 7-8 families. Maybe we were lucky! Then we were served a platter with different truffle products to taste and buy from the shop.while the experience was great, I think it is overpriced at $125 per person. The dry truffle didn't smell truffle at all. The truffle oil was good.

Anna is a passionate and proud storyteller and the tale of how The Truffle Farm came to be I think is one of the most amazing pioneering stories of Australian business I’ve heard. So impressive, so informative, so much fun and so delicious. Worth every dollar for the tour. Highly recommend!

Anna took us on an amazing tour of the truffle farm to dig for truffles with her beloved dogs! Her love and passion for the industry is incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the truffles. Her pizzas are also amazing! Tour is definitely worth it!

A must do when visiting Tasmania. Anna is a wonderful host who spoke so passionately about truffles and her family's truffle history. Watching Anna and her three ridiculously cute dogs at work was incredible, and getting to experience unearthing a truffle was exciting and rewarding. We finished the tour with a tasting of the truffle we found and products made from the truffle on the farm. Truly a wonderful experience and the highlight of my visit to Tassie.

Neither my wife nor myself find truffles particularly tasty however.
Our host was clearly passionate about what she does and the farm was beautiful. This experience was so interesting that we have to rate this as a MUST do when in Tassie. Digging up truffles was a lot of fun as was hearing all about farming them. We can both honestly recommend this as an informative and worthwhile experience.

Recently enjoyed The Truffle Farm tour and had a great time! The doggie helpers are super adorable and the farm owners are knowledgeable and fun! Definitely recommend!
