The Story Bar

Beautiful building, decor and view and great service. My main issue is the food cost and serving size. We ordered 2 servings of scallops and were assured they were appropriate to share but we got 3 scallops per serve at $10 and they were about the size of a 5 cent piece making everyone embarrassed to actually take one and us embarrassed to pass them around! Same with the BBQ zucchini. $6 for the tiniest serving. Drinks were pricey too. Not sure i would go back as there are plenty of nice places with a view in Hobart.

We stumbled on this bar (me and Frosty) after a long hike. It's a really cute and quirky bar, I loved the originality of being able to ask for any cocktails at a. And the books, my god.the books. Nice vibe.

Excellent evening at this very comfortable bar. Played scrabble and sampled delicious cocktails made for our individual tastes. Thanks for the wonderful service!

The Story Bar is a nice place to have a pre-dinner drink. Great view of Hobart's waterfront.
The pink tub chairs were comfortable and the whole atmosphere was pretty good. Until the Christmas song played. It's bad enough having to listen to Christmas songs at Christmas time.
