The Station House

Wow. This apartment was our first 2 nights accommodation of our holiday and it certainly set the bar high for the rest of the places we were heading to afterwards. It had everything we needed, super comfy bed, awesome shower and bathroom, small kitchenette, lounge an tv. It was a great location and very peaceful. Attention to detail was amazing and special treats such as fresh fruit, berries, chocolates and port for those cold nights was all there. Would definetely stay there again if were back there and have already started recommending it to our friends. The owners are more than helpful with any questions you have before and during your stay and check in and check out is so simple.

As an Youtuber, this is a fantastic place to stay during my trip in TAS! After 3 nights of normal, unsurprising nights, I have to say initially I was not expecting such a nice, cozy place with a fireplace! So well equipped and hosts are really welcoming and even personally greet me on site!
Surrounded by a lovely, cute little town and restaurants like Blacksmith Cafe with amazing burgers. Enjoyed warmth of fireplace and DIY your fire! I even did 2 beautiful Timelapse of sunset and sunrise in the back yard!

This is perfect place if you like natural with nice people and taking pics n films

Such a beautiful place. You can tell the owners are passionate about hospitality with the way the home and extras are presented. Lovely fireplace and communal area with snacks and books. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking at exploring Cradle Mountain and surrounding areas.

This is amongst the best bnb's we have stayed in! Absolutely beautiful accommodation with very thoughtful touches. A toasty fire, great bedding and very spacious. Kitchen fully stocked for breakfast, with choccies and port a nice touch too. The location is perfect to explore Sheffield and further afield. Incredible hosts with knowledge of the area and run a touring company - we used this as a base to hike the Overland track. Wish we had stayed longer and will be back. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this place. Marie was so welcoming, I love all the little details that was provided to us, so clean and beautiful.

Cosy room without being small. Comfortable seating and bed. Fireplace and heater. Functional kitchenette. We had a very relaxing stay. 5 min walk from main street with plenty of dining choices. Easy check in/out. Reasonably priced.

My husband & I stayed at The Station House about a fortnight ago. We were very impressed with how it was set up. Very roomy. Provision for a fire for heat or electric heating. Coffee, tea facilities. Felt very much at home there. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Station house. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped with everything you need. Lots of nice touches.
Wine and fruits and Kitkats on our arrival. Nice breakfast.
Coffee and multiple instants coffees and tea.
Defiantly better that a 5 star hotel!

The place is amazing! We had a lovely night here. The size of the room is very spacious. Decoration was beautiful! Details everywhere… They think in everything, in the fridge we found some cereal, milk, bread, coffee to have for breakfast next morning. They also have a little section to buy a book for $1 dollar, they make you life easier by having six packs of beer ready to be bought if you want to drink just outside the room and more things. I wish we had stayed in this quiet place at least 2 nights.we would come back when we visit Tasmania again, thanks David and Marie ️

We stayed a month ago and the place was fantastic, the room was big, beautiful and very clean. Good breakfast. David was aware of our stay. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely house. We had apartment 2, everything we needed and more. Great place to explore from, easily get to Cradle Mt and back to the ferry from here.

Great Location, extremely quiet, easy walk to main center. Lots of wonderful activities to do around the area. Marie and David happy to help with anything you need while stay.

What a delightful cottage! Our apartment was very comfortable and warm on the coldest night in 60 years thanks to a lovely wood heater. Our hosts were magnificent and provided all the comforts of home including real coffee (and an espresso machine), real milk and butter. We don't want to leave!

Have never stayed at a cleaner or better appointed cottage. Really very good and highly recommended.

The place was very clean & everything you needed cated for. Plenty of heating and a wood heater as well. The hosts have made the extra effort with the rooms, even little things like fresh coffee beans. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. I'm hard to impress but I was with this accommodation.
