We stayed for 2 nights last week and it was heartbreaking to leave! Every mod-con you could need, while still staying somewhere remote and connected to nature. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The kitchen was stunning, the views were spectacular and the spa was out of this world.
We celebrated my birthday, and had a belated celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. From now on, I want every holiday there. If I could move in and stay, I would, the whole place was so beautifully thought out and well presented.
Just watch out for the possum! I was standing on the verandah, while my husband was shining the torch on the LARGE group of pademolon's grazing nearby, when he wandered up and bit my toe. I think he's been hand fed a little too often, lol.
If you're an artist, a creative, a nature lover or just in need of a good break from the hustle and bustle of life, I would recommend TPA as a must-have destination.
I'm absolutely thrilled by the conservation work that they are doing for the local wildlife too. The ARC sounds like it's going to be amazing. Thank you for saving our wildlife for future generations.

We stayed in the Boathouse and it was superb. Everything in the cabin was high-spec and it much better than we were expecting.
The view from the deck across the water is lovely and it's a very short stroll down the track to the rock-beach looking toward Dover.
The spa in the deck was the icing on the cake. Watching a sunset in the spa with a glass from the bottle of complementary champagne was something we'll never forget.
Amenities, fixtures etc: excellent
Location: excellent
Quality of the building and the fitout: excellent
Bed: excellent (very comfortable)
Communication with Essentially Tas (the managers) : excellent and very friendly

I recently booked into the Boathouse accommodation, and was very pleased with my stay. It is a wonderful location and bay was so close, the views at sunset were spectacular. It was also great that they supported local businesses with the kitchen fully stocked with local wines and produce. I highly recommend the place as a retreat for couples and all the features make it a completely unique experience.

Our annual vacation is never a laid-backaffairand we always factor in a lot of outdoor activities. The nearby trails cover some stunning sights you can’t find on the mainland, but it was great to come back to luxury accommodation at the end of the day. The King bedroom was clean and perfectly designed, while the roaring fire was desperately needed after our chilly hike. We also made use of the gourmet kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by the range of local produce and vintages.

We only stayed one night at the Peninsula Experience in Tasmania but it was an experience I will not forget! It completely removed us from our busy life to a visually beautiful space where everything was well designed and superbly presented. We stayed in the Boathouse, which was a well thought out space with superb views of the bay and the bush. It was such a great view, we didn’t close the curtains or doors and in the morning, woke up to a curious local kookaburra! I highly recommend this place - well equipped and in a great location.

This place is the peak of exclusive and luxurious accommodation in Tasmania. I recommend the Boathouse as it has a large private deck over the Bay. In the evening, it was incredible to watch the sunset while savouring the quiet stillness with a glass of local wine. The hot tube for two was an inspired feature and we spend hours there at night under the stars. It’s a must visit if you are looking for a getaway for two in Tassie.
