A Fun afternoon at the Margate Train!
So much to see
My highlights were the second hand shop.
Margate Traders and the icecream at The Pancake Train. Ben's icecream was Truely Superb (Blueberry)
Nothing better on a warm day
Not my 1st visit and won't be my last!

Nice walkabout. Not my type of shops but I liked the furniture/antique/vintage shop at the end.

A great place to take the kids (ours are grown and weren't with us).
Cool set up with different carriages having different things (e.g pancakes, lollies, etc).
The train doesn't go anywhere, so you can sit and enjoy your food/the experience.

Always nice coming here, can be busy when the weather is good.
A good few food options while you look round too.

Good place to visit, good lolly shop! We then had pancakes, and kebabs. Both were excellent!

Great fun with a different shop in each carriage, including a pancake cafe, a bookshop, a barber, a sweet shop, a clothes shop, plus more. Outdoor cafe and children's playground. Antique shop at rear. The Pancake Cafe has the best pancakes on Earth.

Had a great visit, shops in the train great. Food was excellent and great value for money. The vintage shop is well worth a visit. If you get a chance visit.

Margate train and antiques store/warehouse. We arrived on a public holiday so not much of the train was open, was hoping to treat the family to there famous pancakes, Luckily the antiques warehouse was open, so while the kiss enjoyed the simple bur adventurous players outside us parents managed to get our fix of old and new in the store.

Different and a great idea but most of it was closed. For those who have not attended it is a train where each carriage is a shop. There is a kids play area and you can climb into the old engine.

Magnificent use of locomotive history and rail cars in a commercial tourist context which was interesting and worthy of the time we spent in the Margate Train precinct. A fun place to visit and fabulous second hand shed packed with a collection of eclectic goods.

Perfect. Had brunch (group of 4) at 10: 45 on Sunday 5/12/21 and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The food is terrific; you've got to get yourself into this place!

Nice tourist place. Used to be a bit unique and full of treasures but I guess they have to move with the times. Still worth a stop to support local talent.

Love the pancake here. One for two person around $24. We had one pancake with full of cherries and one chai latte. They usually have special dishes as well. We went there on Saturday and full of tables. Pretty busy place and great atmosphere for Saturday avo!

What an amazing place, ordered the Chocolate Banana Full Sized didn't realise how ginormous it was haha. Was absolutely amazing though from what I could eat of it. And very well priced. Staff were lovely as well.

The place is really nice and the staffs were friendly as well. The pancakes were really big, so make sure you are really hungry before ordering a full serve.

Haven't been here for a little while, the first thing we noticed is the bar is gone. Used to have great local made cider, went well with the food. It's a loss. Will made the decision to come here again change

Great place for a visit, the Wood Guys have amazing items and the Pancakes looked like a big hit.

A light friendly atmosphere and good food from the vendors. An area for children to play and an antique store to browse. All in all a great place to spend an afternoon.

Nice spot and it was heartening to see the train, can't be easy to maintain it so hats off to the owners.
