The Lighthouse Hotel reviews
64Wish I had someone to sleep with bc it sounded like everyone was having the time of their life’s
Highly recommend. Wonderful rooms. Great food. Central to everything in ulverstone. Great prices. Will be back.
Needs a lift instead of climbing all the stairs with? Rooms very clean and dinner was great as well. We would stay again.
It was mind-blowing. Very modern kitchen area with a fridge and microwave. We loved it and the staff was so helpful and friendly and also a super clean atmosphere!
Staff are always helpful and enjoy their work looking after their patrons, we will be back, thank you
Very disappointing, my meal would have to be the worst I've ever experienced, never again! It was as though it has been sitting in warmers for hours. It wasn't the first time, but it will be the last.
Always great value for money plenty of space for the kids to play. The waiting time for your order's is very prompt and staff are always pleasant. Keep up the great work
Lighthouse Hotel accommodation was spacious and roomy. Very clean tidy room. Dinner downstairs in restaurant was well priced and delicious food. Only issue was our room was next to the outdoor spa and the spa motor continuously turned on and off all night which made it difficult sleeping.
Busy for a Monday. Long time for meal to Come. Overcooked scallops. Some other meals looked lovely though.
Food was mostly good, but was very disappointed in the fact that my 1 year olds vegetables (Ordered from the kids menu) were covered in Sweet chilli sauce which was not put on the menu and she couldn't eat
Friendly staff, great play gym for kids.
Unfortunately that's where it stopped, the kids meals of nuggets and chips were over cooked, and chips were dry as if sitting too long in Bay, calamari was tough as boot leather, pork belly was very bland and sat on a bed of soggy food, salt & pepper tenders were burnt and hard, and my scotch fillet was grisly and couldnt eat it, vegies were great. I also had to use my son in laws steak knife after asking and waiting.very disappointed considering the amount of money spent for the night
Did not stay, just went for a birthday meal. I have to say in my 68 years one of the worst meals I have ever had.left most of it. The lovely manager gave me a voucher for another meal to make up for it.sorry no thank you I will give that away. I would never ever eat there again.
Roast dray leather not pork!
Went here for a family night out.
Food was well priced and beautiful.
Even better kids eat free, even has a playground for the children while they are waiting.
Restaurant was full and busy but meals were coming out fast
Highly recommended for families
Neat, clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and tv nice and big. If you are arriving after 8pm eat before as only option in town is McDonald's
Great food and service. Massive meals, good quality mains with excellent salads included. Friendly and quick service. Excellent play room to keep the kids occupied.
Room was good but the walls need to be soundproofed could hear the person in the next room snoring. No lift so if you have heavy luggage rethink this location
The Lighthouse Hotel (Oasis) is part of the local pub which is not a bad thing, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be somewhat separate from the main areas.
The rooms open to the balcony that looks down to the eatery. This is ok considering the clientele are families and those having dinner. They aren't rowdy or intrusive to the upstairs hotel rooms.
Its clean and the staff go out of their way for guests and patrons.
The food is good with very good serving sizes.
The gambling area is completely separated by two doors.
There is a seating area with lounges on the up stairs hotel room mezzanine level as well a hot tub, sauna and gym. The seating and lounges are a little dated but clean. A food area and TV would be great additions to that area.
There is a fantastic indoor childrens play area next to the eatery which is very convenient for parents.
Over all the hotel is good as is its location being central to the main road, boat ramp and beaches all in walking distances. The rooms are well serviced and clean.
I would like to see the functioning of the hotel outside of covid 19 restrictions as I believe it would be more vibrant with possible differences to the feel of the experience.
The room was really nice and exactly same as photos.bright, fresh and clean. I also got call from the hotel to confirm our arrival.very nice customer service.
Absolutely little gem of a place.
Clean comfortable and affordable accommodation. Excellent food very good value for money and awesome service
