The Gardens Apartment Hobart

Arriving in the evening, Tom was there to welcome us and explain the layout of the apartment.
We had a very comfortable stay and found the location to be ideal for exploring.
The garden itself is beautiful, even in winter.
Would certainly stay here again if we return to Tasmania.

Tom's apartment suited us very well. It was in a good location for us, easy access to Hobart and to the Huon area.
Tom greeted us on our arrival, and helped us with explaining how things worked, and was available to address any needs or questions we had.
The apartment is kept in excellent condition, with quality appliances and is very clean. We appreciated having the undercover parking provided, although we only had rain on one night. We felt very secure staying here.

We stayed here for 4 nights mid February at the end of our Tasmania trip and it was a great place to stay.
The apartment is wonderful. It was clean, neat, tidy and so well stocked with everything we needed and more.
Tom and Pam are great hosts, very helpful, and Tom, I loved the guide/manual, it was useful, thank you.
Tom's (not so secret) garden was a joy, so beautiful and so well cared for. It was lovely and I wanted to transport it home.
The apartment is in a quiet suburb of Hobart, a bit out the city, but with easy bus rides into the city - the best way to travel as it seems very congested. And it was easy to get around in the car, avoiding Hobart, to some amazing places.
I'd definitely recommend The Gardens Apartment, it's a great place to stay.

Great spot to relax and enjoy Hobart. We stayed 6 nights while orienteering locally and did a quick day trip to Bruny Island.

We had a lovely 5 days at Tom and Pam's Gardens apartment. Everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean. Warm and cozy with the gas heating. Exceptional attention to detail with the inclusion of everything you could need for a comfortable stay with the ability to cook for yourself. Very comfortable bed and chairs. The Gardens are lovely and Tom and Pam the perfect hosts. The location with bus stop so close made exploring Hobart easy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the gardens apartment.

My partner and I stayed 5 nights at 'The Gardens Apartment Hobart' during the start of November 2022. We had a lovely and very comfortable stay. The bed was big and very comfortable. There was good heating in the lounge which warmed the upstairs room well. Everything we needed was provided. Coming back from a day's outing, we were able to have a strong shower, make tea and sit in the super comfortable lounge chairs to watch TV and You Tube channels on the large TV. The apartment is cozy and very clean and its location makes it very convenient to drive to Hobart city, Salamanca and Battery Point. A bonus to me was having a carport right next to the apartment to protect the classic car I was driving from the weather.
Tom, the host, was always helpful and gracious. Thank you, Tom.
I highly recommend 'The Gardens Apartment Hobart'. We wish to stay there again on our next Hobart trip.

Tom and Pam have a lovely little apartment, sparkling clean, close to public transport and surrounded by serene gardens.
Communication with Tom was excellent, he is a most helpful and affable host.
Good information on facilities, and also on local attractions.
Carpark on site under cover was excellent. Loft style bedroom had vaulted ceiling so it felt roomy.

We had a fantastic week staying at the Gardens Apartment, Tom was a great host and the apartment was immaculate, well stocked and well laid out. It is in a good location a short distance from Hobart. We would recommend as a place to stay.

Tom and Pam were excellent hosts, both friendly and helpful. We found the Gardens apt.to be in a very convenient location; only ten minutes from Hobart or a short drive to many quieter locations. The apt.was well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet. Their lovely garden was perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine. We will definitely stay with them on our next visit from Canada.

We can’t speak highly enough about the Gardens apartment & Tom & Pam’s hospitality & generosity. The apartment was well equipped with quality appliances. The cupboards were stocked with all the necessary food provisions & more. The apartment was clean & the beds were comfortable. The garden was a labour of love & full of flowers. What more could you ask for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at The Gardens Apartment last week. Great location, lovely surroundings and very quiet and tranquil. Very cosy and well equipped apartment. Upon arrival we received a brilliant “Welcome Pack” like bread, cereal, butter, jams, fruit, chocolates and milk ……. How cool is that! Bed was extremely comfy. Décor delightful. Hosts Tom and Pam very friendly and helpful making suggestions for places to visit and making sure we were happy. A week just wasn’t enough. Definitely recommend a stay there…… you will not be disappointed. Thankyou Tom and Pam.

We can not speak highly enough of Garden Apartments. Tom and Pam are the most gracious hosts. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. This was our first stay and defiantly wont be our last.

If you have ever been online and found the perfect place only to arrive and be disappointed. I can assure you this WILL NOT HAPPEN at Garden Apartments. The apartment is exactly as the picture only better. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. All the appliances are top notch, right done to the hairdryer.

We cooked ourselves a meal in the kitchen which was great. We also eat out in Hobart. We didn't bother with a car as Tom advises on his web site there is a regular bus service. The bus stop is just a few minutes from the apartment and comes regularly.

We cant recommend Garden Apartments enough.

The Gardens Apartment was a perfect choice for us. Picturesque location just moments from the water with beautiful walks in any direction. The accommodation is very comfortable, well appointed and clean and looks out onto the beautiful garden. Close to the city but far enough away to feel out of suburbia. The Gardens is a great base for day trips - we went to Cygnet, Port Arthur, Richmond, as well as catching the local bus into town on several occasions. Tom and Pam provide a restful haven for holiday makers and as hosts are cleverly available but not intrusive; friendly and informative. We highly recommend The Gardens Apartment and will stay again when we travel to Hobart!

We recently stayed at this wonderful apartment. Tom & Pam have thought of everything that you could need. It was very relaxing and just a short drive to Sandy Bay - I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. We were close enough to Hobart without the hassle of city life.
