The Cove Tasmania

Best wedding venue anyone could ask for! Staff were amazing and so helpful, the rooms were great and the location was stunning, would recommend to anyone considering staying or looking for a venue for their next event!

The Cove is a must stay, when looking for a break away from your busy life, you can completely relax and unwind, the staff are all amazing and make you feel like family, definitely 5 star in all aspects, this will be one of your best locations to stay whilst in Tasmania. The scenery, wildlife, penguins & peacocks are all part of this special place, cannot wait until my next stay, A big thank you to Kim, Bruce & staff. Sue & Marty H. Qld.

Wow Wow Wow what an amazing place to stay. The Cove is a hidden gem! The photos on the Cove Website do not do the place justice. You have to stay to understand what I mean, a truly beautiful place. I could rave on about how beautiful the place is but a factor that stood out for me was, they have got the little things right! (Example I wish I had binoculars, guess what they had them in a draw in the villa) The whole Cove Team were outstanding! It goes to show that the management team put a high value on staff wellbeing as they were ALL so friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the Cove and local area.
I left my city mindset behind and embraced the peace and tranquility. Massages, walks and just sitting and looking out to the views and getting lost in the world All a the one place.
Plus the wife and I saw wild fairy penguins at the Cove.

An incredibly well appointed well run establishment. Absolutely everything is provided. The self catering kitchen is huge with every cooking utensil & appliance possible. Top class fixtures & fittings as well as staff. Hospitality at its best. Peaceful, a ‘no kids’ resort

We underestimated how stunning this accommodation is and we wished we booked longer! A very special experience and all finishing touches are 5 star - making the stay very comfortable and unforgettable. The owners and Staff are amazing, engaging and very welcoming.
We are visiting from North Qld and already planning to return to stay longer in the future.

Nourishing food for the soul. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hillside & beautiful shared bathroom, fantastic kitchen, quiet & relaxed, just what was needed. Kym & all the team so helpful & kind. Take your wine down to viewing decks with fire pits & red torches provided to watch penguins at night. We had booked one night, had to stay longer! The hot stone massage delightful. Highly recommend. Will be back soon.

This amazing spot just under an hour from Launceston Tas (home). We stayed in Hillside 2 and couldn't have asked for any better view. Everything about this place seemed perfect!

From the moment we arrived and were shown to our beautiful room with a spectacular view, we relaxed into our stay at one of the best locations we have ever stayed in our travels throughout the world. It is a perfect combination of land, sea and sky.
The villa was elegant and comfortable with a large bathtub to soak in while taking in the ocean view.
The entire staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly and helpful throughout our five day stay. The spa treatment was fabulous and one of our meals prepared by the personal chef was delicious.
Hiking in the hills and watching the little blue penguins coming to shore each night is something we will always remember in this very special place.

A perfect accommodation. Stay here for atleast 2 nights to truly enjoy this place and surroundings. They have a huge pizza oven! Just bring whatever you want to cook. You can purchase whisky and wine. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one can imagine. They have DeLonghi coffee machine, pods and a big milk frother. Fresh baked bread is available for free. You can also pre order basket breakfast.
Go for the walks around the accommodation.
The common area overlooks the water. They have puzzles, Jenga, Uno, and a few other board games. With plenty of dining spaces, you can easily find a private corner.
On check-in enquire about watching penguins. They can be spotted at dusk. Unfortunately we didn't know this information and missed it. I hope this review will help you have the best time.

This place was amazing, the view is just incredible and it is so peaceful.
The rooms do not have a bathroom but this was no big deal to be honest. The facilities they provided in the main area were great.
The kitchen and BBQ areas were of a very high standard.
They have a drinks fridge that works on an honesty system which is great except we had to leave before staff started the next day so a bit of a pain to fix it up.
A huge bonus was being able to walk to the beach at night and see penguins. It was an amazing experience.

It is adults only which makes the atmosphere very relaxing and I thoroughly recommend this to any couples staying in devonport.

Everything was perfect.from the accomadation to the views, the ocean, the animals and the staff. Can fault nothing!

Location to Devonport CBD & airport is very convenient. We chose the luxurious cliffside chalet and it was perfect for the celebratory night away. Kim is an excellent host. From the delicious platter on arrival to coffee, bar facilities, central hub and kitchen facilities - all very conducive to a real get away.

The Cove is perfect in every way. Glorious location with wildlife in abundance with little penguins arriving at a private beach at sunset. The chalet style accommodation is private, quiet and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. One of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever experienced.

I wish I could give more stars! I can’t recommend Kim and her team at The Cove enough!
The service was fantastic and the location was absolutely breathtaking - the perfect spot for our wedding day!
Cannot wait to celebrate our 1 year anniversary there.

Location, Site Amenities and service are all 5 star. We stayed in one of the smaller room options which was very nice, but lacked any space to hang or sit clothing and no bench space in the bathroom for toiletries or clothes. That aside, this facility is just gorgeous, the view is unbeatable and the common room and kitchen is fabulous. The owners and staff were also all very helpful and lovely.

The Cove is such a unique stay that we could not believe was real. Every day felt like waking up in a dream with the spectacular view from the cliff side cabins. The staff were incredibly friendly and Kim made sure our honeymoon was perfect.
It’s close enough to tourist sights but has a secluded feel. We are leaving our stay feeling completely refreshed.
We are already planning our next visit to soak up the fresh air.

Gorgeous location, accommodating hosts, beautiful rooms, and facilities, could not fault anything

Listen to the ocean while you slither away into the dreamworld in this magical space to unwind and relax.

View, service, ambience and facilities are all 5-Star!
