We were here a couple of months ago and loved the place. We came back last weekend driving from Cradle Mountain as we loved the food. New owners have taken over and the service has gone down hill. All they want to do is get you sat down and out of the place as quickly as possible. Four different waitresses served us this evening. The first sat us down gave us the menus and stood there until we ordered our drinks then wanted the food order as well. We told her to come back in a few minutes then an other waitress came for the order. Food was served 12 mins later and the desert board put in front of us as the plates were cleared by another waitress. I was just putting my nearly empty drink glass down and another waitress appeared and took it away. We said we wanted at least a 10 min wait before ordering desert but this did not stop them keep asking for the order. We were in and out of the restaurant in 1 hour 15 mins feeling totally fed up with the service.

Well presented, well cooked, delicious food. Friendly waitress. Also quite quick despite how busy it was in there. No hesitation in going back again.

It was good. Didn’t like the dessert- tiramisu, too sweet, and didn’t understand why they gave ice cream with it.

Highly recommend the service and food. We didn’t have a booking and they made room for us, even though it was completely booked out.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delightful, even our fussy kids were completely satisfied Make sure to save some room for dessert. We will return

We had a beautiful meal there tonight. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and an exceptional meal. Great place to dine out and totally recommend.

Enjoyable and economical Lunch specials, with a good view of the bay from the big, airy and quirkily decorated dining room. The staff are friendly, prompt and helpful. The platter of warm duck slices, with assorted sides was a winner. Three courses on a plate. Orange ginger calamari also good.

Best kids meal we've had so far! Salmon with Actual vegetables Also loved the delicious scallop gratin and the comprehensive list of local wines and craft beer. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful food & lovely service. Also a nice atmosphere. Cooked my Fillet Mignon to perfection & just melted in your mouth!

Food was nice. Nothing over the top, just average. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Building was very outdated. Couch was covered in ants and old food scraps stuck between cushions. Probably need to have a look at their cleaning.

One of our favourites. As "townies" The Bunker is our weekend go-to. Winter menu is warming, shanks, beef cheeks, beautiful steaks. AMAZING.

Absolutely delicious food. Crumbed Tasmanian scallops just perfect. Ice cream with real raspberries just heavenly. My favourite eating place.

It was fully booked on a Saturday night but they squeezed us in if we could eat and be out in an hour and a bit. We agreed. Food was hearty, beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly. The best part of the meal, though, was observing what is obviously a close community come to eat here. The kids ran around in a posse, even rearranging some smaller furniture, and no one seemed to mind! A delightful place.

The best place to eat in Bridport. Fantastic service and amazing meals. Will definitely be back again and again.

Omg what amazing food and service.
We are from QLD and have been in this beautiful state for 5 weeks now. We were so excited to come to tassie as we know/heard the food here is to die for. Unfortunately we havnt come across anything exciting until now! Wow! Both me and my husband were blown away with how yummy everything was. And the service was 10stars. Thanks for a fantastic dinning experience.

Excellent Pub, excellent staff, very friendly Publican, the food was extremely good, we had seafood for entree and Mains and it was sensational, great Chef, wants to make me go back there again soon.

Nice setting. But 2 of us are a meal there and felt it was lacking. Then decided we deserved dessert. Was served frozen sticky date pudding and frozen cheesecake. By frozen we mean unthawed. Overpriced underwhelming food.

Great food, wine and service, we went back the night after and there were still more dishes we wanted to try.

Heaps of seafood options, a few steaks/pork ribs and a vegatarian choice. Great service. Lovely open dining area with views out to the bay.
