The Bridge Hotel reviews
31 + cheap
+ laundry with washing machine + dryer included
+ Wi-Fi
+ own sink, warm water (fridge, TV, fan)
- cold, heating doesn’t work; no duvet, just a blanket, didn’t see the heating mat cause you’d never get to see that in a German hotel ;D
- cleanliness: hairy carpet (A sign asks you to enter your room without shoes, but I put them back on once my socks were full of long, black hair (I’m brunette).
Shared use: Toilet and bathroom are old, the tiles all wry, but ok.
A sensational burger, just the thing after a long day on the road. Very friendly staff that made for a great experience and dinner.
This was actually really good.
I don’t usually stay in Pub/Motels but this was clean and seemed new and modern.
I didn’t leave my boots outside the door as per the sign (Soz to the staff) because the rain was coming in sideways and I like my feet dry in the morning.
The feed (steak) at the pub next door was on point and the staff a little cheeky.
All in all a good one to stay at again.
Excellent food. Yummy Roast Pork with Roast Veggies and Apple Crumble for Dessert.
Very friendly staff. A great location not far from the Caravan Park.
Meals were excellent. Best mixed grill I’ve had in years. Accommodation was pretty good. Staff were great
Great place to stay for work. Lovely and friendly staff, very affordable budget rooms that are clean and have everything you need. Will definitely be staying here again when work requires it!
Nice, basic meals but overpriced. My salmon was a bit dry and my friend's roast was a bit tough.
We shared the 800gram steak was cooked to perfection could not fault it. The staff very friendly and welcoming nice cold beer.
We stayed at The Bridge Hotel for 2 nights and ate in the dining room on both nights. The motel room has been modernised and was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and wait staff very friendly. Very reasonably priced. We ate their meringue nest for dessert to celebrate the end of our holiday. It was beautifully presented and melted in our mouths. Compliments to the staff. We would definitely return here again.
Very disappointing. I ordered room service. Waited 1 and half hours rang to see how much longer my meal was going to be and surprise, surprise they took it to another room. Then there was no lamb left which is what I ordered. Going to bed hungry tonight. Very disappointing.
We had a good stay and close to Stanley the Nut. The rooms were quite spacious and we did late checkin around 8pm without any issue. Definitely a good stay and they also have a big liquor store and woolies is also nearby.
We drove from Ulverstone to have lunch here.
The food was phenomenal, you couldn't leave saying you was hungry, the servings are huge! I sent the chef a 10/10 for his steak, it was divine. Our waitress was such a delightful person.
The prices were very high, $98 for an entree and 2 main meals.
You don't mind paying for great food though.
We gave you a 3 stars as the only thing that came out of the kitchen you didn’t make the (Oysters) were fantastic, my parmigiana with the seafood was a total rip off 3 baby prawns and scallop the size of a 5 cent piece for $8.99 extra! Are you serious? My wife’s salmon was burnt and dried out to a cinder something seriously went wrong today in that kitchen! Looking back at the rest of your reviews we thought we were in for a great meal! We spent over $80 without drinks for a really bad affair!
Your staff were fantastic- the only redeeming feature today! I could never recommend your place after today - unfortunately or fortunately we were on our way through and you only had one chance with us! Good money spent bad!
Everything was great, the rooms were modern and clean, the beds were comfortable and overall everything was great. The staff were amazingly helpful and the restaurant made delicious food. I'd definitely stay here again.
The food was okay (I did get a chuckle re the huge sheppards pie, which came with a side of mashed potato, a boiled potato and a smidge of carrots and brocolli - potato country indeed!), staff were lovely.the room in the hotel however.
Seems housekeeping went thru the process but did not actually check for a result or just didn't give a rip. Clean sheets were put onto a urine soaked/stained electric blanket and mattress.not even clean pillow cases. The marks were approx 1m in diameter and SEVERE. I mean throw up severe. I am scarred for life. I slept in my car.
The management were appropriately embarrassed and mortified as well and refunded my room and meal and vowed to get to the bottom of it. Hats off to them. Not sure if it was a rogue incident/housekeeper or a bigger issue. Was surprised considering the other reviews.
Great meals, roast pork was great. Went back the next night too. Another great meal.pays to book if you want a table or booth.
Staying in Smithton for a couple of nights and wanted a good pub feed. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff and the meals were huge and very tasty.
Will recommend to all.
