18What an amazing Dinner we had! Great tapas and oysters with a Great tassie Riesling wine! Coming from europe and enjoying tasmania we Chose an excellent Restaurant in Swansea! Highly recommend this as Service is also very good!
Beautiful setting, great service and brilliant drink selection. They really are open late too!
Really lovely spot with great food and amazing service! Good vibes and a diverse menu (I really liked the zucchini and cheese plate). Our waitress was so pleasant and welcoming, she made sure we had a great experience. Definitely make an effort to stop in! So glad we got to go.
Absolute must visit when you're in Swansea or nearby! It really made our night to find this unique, charming and welcoming place. The food and wine was amazing, service incredible. A lovely surprise to find this place. Highly recommended.
Great little restaurant with live music. Great service from owners who also ran the restaurant. Friendly and hospitable. Food was good although portion sizes small and a little pricey. There were vegetarian dishes. Wine and cider/ beer locally sourced and was delicious.
We had a fantastic evening! Everything local. The wines are delicious and the host can provide a lot of information about them. The food was fantastic. A must visit!
We had dinner here the first night because we saw it was tapas. Enjoyed the succulent food, friendly and efficient service and great atmosphere so much that we came back the next night during our brief stay in Swansea. Wow! Wow! Wow! P.s. The creme brûlée… divine!
Kelsey and Luke looked after us superbly. Tapas and a selection of delicious drinks; what's not to love?
What a great experience at The Branch! My partner and I were travelling through headed to our accommodation and stopped in at this beautiful place for food and wine. The owner and waitstaff were so welcoming and dedicated to us having a good night. We sat under the fairy light tree and next to a fire heater. Our favourite food was the torched salmon tapas. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
Delicious food (we had the eggplant) and very nice Tassie wines! Also, great service and sweet staff. We wish them all the best with their new restaurant.
Wine was fantastic, along with the fantastic service from the staff constantly checking on us and topping our wine glasses. Highly recommend for staying on the east coast of tassie.
It is tapas food so don't expect a 5 course meal, it's fantastic tapas plates good to share among 2 people.
The wine was delicious along with the tapas. The staff and service was awesome along with the ambience.
Lovely vibe, nice place with friendly staff
Meals left a lot to be desired, small tapas servings and highly priced.
Wonderful venue, friendly service and amazing locally produced cuisine. Special tastes and skilled chefing.
Nice Tazzies wines, skip the food. Overpriced and underwhelming. Visited for a Friday night early dinner solo as a vegetarian. Only 2-3 other tables seated. I ordered the eggplant and the potatoes. The potatoes were okay, yet a bit greasy. The eggplant was very heavily fried and all the eggplant flavor and texture was overwhelmed. It was also served with a sweet sauce that made the dish like eating fried honey. I asked if it were possible to assemble a side salad and was told “we don’t do salad, only tapas. ” I found this fairly rude but otherwise the service was acceptable.
What a lovely surprise! We happened upon The Branch as it was the only place still serving food past 8pm in the area and it was amazing! Service was 10/10 and food was delicious! It made our Friday night! Would recommend a visit as the owners go above and beyond for you.
Share plates are delicious and generous in size. Great selection of wines and local produce. Try the pork, the bresaola carpaccio and the olives.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable with excellent awareness of local wines and vineyards.
I eagerly waited all morning for this charming place to open and I was not disappointed.
Tapas style dining so little plates to share, with a lot of fresh food and plenty of cheeky tassie drinks. It was especially nice to see a "kids platter" so the kids can have a great foodie experience too. Dogs on leads are also welcome.
Check it out. They're doing a good thing for those of us that love to experience the art behind food and wine. Beautiful place. For myself, it's a very romantic little dining experience.
