I've lost my money and they have lost a customer.

A wonderful place to eat at, toasted jaffa a must or the soup and hamburger also cakes.
I did not eat all of this, had a group with me.

Stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to have gluten free breaky. There was a few sweet gf items and they could do some things on the menu gf, However they said they didn’t have facilities to make celiac safe toast (baking paper or a grill could fix this!) I had the soup with fresh gf bread was yum. Dine in coffee was good however they used single use take away cups- which isn’t good from a waste perspective. Nonetheless it was a good experience and nice to be surrounded by artwork while dining.

Fantastic food, the proprietor saw that I couldn’t make my mind up, asked what I actually wanted (not on the menu) and made my breakfast from scratch, couldn’t be happier or rate the service and food higher!

An odd little shop (to me) that sold great coffee. Three visits and two awesome coffees and one ok coffee. Opens early as well so good for us cyclists.

Called in for brunch, lovely, clean environment. Friendly, caring staff and importantly great food and coffee. Worth a visit if you are in the area for sure!

Very pleasant hour spent chatting to friends in calm and warm surroundings. Would like to return and try some more of the delicious looking offerings.

Staying in Hobart for a week we took a drive to New Norfolk looking for a little ‘gem’ in whatever form that may be.
We found it here! Lovely clean cafe with eclectic art lining the walls. The food was excellent- soup, pate and jacket potato was exactly what we were hoping for coupled with charming, friendly service. Thankyou!

My friend suggested we have lunch at the artHouse. The pate was sensational. So was the service and decor. I certainly won't hesitate going there again when I'm back in New Norfolk.

Great tohave someone go the extra mile near closing time. Staff went out if their way to serve. Excellent service food and coffee.

Was disappointed to have lunch at the cafe and still be served both our lunches and coffees in take a way containers.

I came here with my partner for a coffee. Upon entry we were delighted by the upbeat customer service so much so that we let it slide that the coffee price was $7 (due to the high price we were expecting a brilliant beverage!).
The coffee came out quite promptly however to our dismay they arrived in plastic takeaway cups despite dining in.
The coffee was very bitter and the milk not up to competitor standards.
I would suggest that they introduce a new bean into the Cafe and also look at some mugs and glasses.

Gorgeous little cafe, with great arts and crafts to purchase. Amazing food, especially the chilli hot spuds. Highly recommend if you are driving through New Norfolk.

A very nice place to have food and view some local art. Very cute and very clean. Worth a stop in.

I’ve travelled a lot of Australia and am genuinely pretty shocked at how expensive the coffee is at this place. I never write reviews, but $7 for a takeaway latte? On reflection, I should have said something. Arthouse, you have a McDonald’s next to you charging significantly less and you aren’t that remote. I’d consider reviewing your prices.

Great food at a very affordable price from a varied menu, with really personable and genuinely friendly good service.

In a new dining trend, while you wait you can browse the art gallery (some great works displayed) or the excellent selection of art/craft products and supplies some of which I believe are hard to get elsewhere. (Not that I am very arty or crafty)

Recommended as a little-known attraction outside 'Norfolk, if only for the prosaic yet satisfying menu (I very nearly went back for seconds) and the charming banter.

Stopped in at New Norfolf on our way to Russell Falls and grabbed a coffee. I was after something sweet and ordered the blueberry and almond tart. Was disappointed that the tart came out almost immediately after I sat down but then had to wait some time for my coffee. The tart was finished by the time coffee came out. Suggest to bring order out together. The waitress was either nervous or new as she carried one coffee at a time. Suggest maybe a tray.
