The Albert Brewery reviews
10 Alright guys, this place is perfect, and ill tell you why.
Ive had their beer before, and its always come across to me as no nonsense, simple beer, simple label but always done well.
I came in on a whim tonight with my fiance, and im so glad i did.
That 'simple but always done well' i said before, carried over to the ENTIRE EXPERIENCE.
Food - small menu, which has been mastered, with rotataing specials, generous servings at a reasonable price. Very well made and super tasty.
Decor and atmosphere- heavy branding, and styalised but it works, it doesnt feel forced, blueprints of beer equipment, blue napkins, blue curtains etc. Music wasnt too loud and it played crowd pleasers for the most part.
Service - friendly, professional, attentive staff.
You can see the brewing setup from the taproom and that is sick.
Only downside is, as new comers, the entrance wasnt obvious, but once you know, its fine.
Im super stoked with the albert as a whole, the focus on simplicity to deliver a high end product is what every brewery should aspire too.
No cookie cutter nonsense here.
A group of about 14 of us spent a wonderful Saturday evening in the taproom. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much for them! Food was delicious too! Highly recommend!
Some of the best beer you'll find in Tasmania, the pilsner, amber lager, dark larger, all make it easy for a long afternoon in the taproom
I like to have a couple of beers after work. Knowing this new brewery was around the corner I followed thier social media platforms. Been meaning to visit for few and a bite from the invited food trucks but never made it in. Bought a bottle of wine from Cellarbrations Glenorchy last week and seen Albert Lager in the fridge. Went back Monday but being a public holiday it was closed. Tried it last night.and tonight again. Best beer I've ever had
I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely return. Their lager and draught is really nice, the venue and staff are excellent. It's really clean and well laid out. Regardless or the weather there is heaps of space inside and out to enjoy a beer or two. You feel nice and relaxed while being there and the staff are relaxed and really friendly.
Top job
Best local lager I've had and the taproom/outdoor seating area has such a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The selection of beers was fantastic. The food trucks make it a great option for after work knock offs as well
The Albert Road Brewery taproom is open! The beer line up is now 4 with an Australian Draught style joining the germanic lager, pilsener and dark lager. Some wines and cider were also available and a food van was on site for nibbles. Happy days indeed.
Lovely bar and a lovely atmosphere!
The bar tender was awesome was happy to chat about the beers and was very knowledgeable.
Food vans out front are great as well
The clear view into the very clean and neat brewing area along with the old school industrial control panel in the brewery really adds to the aesthetic of the place!
This is definitely my new local!
Boekamp Lager, is one of the best Lagers I've ever had. The best Tasmanian beer available.
