Tasty Korea reviews
63Great food and awesome service. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Best in town fried chicken
The best Korean chicken in Hobart, the place is very nice and the attention very good and fast.
It is a wonderful restaurant- one of the best in all of Hobart. The wait staff are especially good and attentive!
The corn cheese here is sweet and delicious, and the cheesy fried chicken can also be washed
The chicken wings really good, the flavor so tasty.
In this photo it was creamy onion and hot&chili
Since this place starts to run by Vietnamese and the food quality becomes very low and taste so bad. Very overpriced food with a poor quality.
Delicious Korean Fried chicken, available on uber eats. Bulgolgi stir fry is tasty also! 5/5
Overpriced & overrated. Not an authentic Korean restaurant.
Kimchi casserole costed me $39 and stated that was a 2-3 people servings but it contained only less than 10 pieces of pork belly which each of them was smaller than my little finger. Only the vegetables in the pot were enough for 2-3 ppl servings as stated, the amount of mushrooms and tofu contained were too little as well. The soup was bad, what I tasted was just simply a pot of diluted Korean red pepper paste not even anything else. It was a low quality food, not good for value, spent $50/2 ppl here but we were not full.
I also ordered a $11 corn cheese, which was average but a bit too creamy. It did not looked the same as the photo in the other reviews.
The good things perhaps were the service and environment, staff was nice and seats were comfortable.
Not a honest restaurant
The original rice cake is 26.95 but the girl in reception said 28.95 the reason is GST for 2 dollars
Nice food and good service. Unfortunately at the time we ate there they were renewing their liquor licence so we couldn’t have any soju.
Food was very decent. We had the seafood stew, both original & rose ddeokbokki, fried chicken, japchae, beef bulgogi & 2 of their burgers.
We were able to request no sausages & bacon on one of the rice cake dishes so they can be flexible for pescatarians.
They were only BYO when we went there so check in with them before going there for drinks.
This used to be a favorite of ours and especially on a Wednesday when the special was on. Called in this evening to do so and no specials were to be seen. $40+ for the boneless chicken is steep and then $17.95 for kimchi loaded fries. That price has jumped and the serving was small.
We decided to push on and we were the only ones in the restaurant. No cutlery was handed out and instead the waitress gestures towards the self service area right next to her. We’ve never had this type of careless service before big sadly the fries were very much overpriced and we won’t be back for a while. Overall the atmosphere was pretty dour.
I recently visited a Korean fried chicken restaurant and was blown away by the flavors and quality of the food. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a perfect balance of spice and sweetness. The side dishes were also delicious, with a variety of shoestring and rice cakes. The atmosphere was casual and upbeat, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or group outing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Korean fried chicken.
Such a fun night. Great atmosphere and service with a smile. We enjoyed the peach beer and soju in many flavours. The chicken was so yummy. I loved the snowing cheese flavour wings and the traditional boneless best, but all of it was delicious We never felt rushed and got to enjoy a great family night.
The legend is back and so is the best Korean fried chicken in Tasmania. You won't be disappointed by the food or service.
Best fried chicken ever had. Must try if someone want to know how real fried chicken tastes like.
Credit card information leaked immediately after online purchasing my dinner with them, STAY AWAY!
So happy to see traditional Korean dishes added to the menu! Missed those on previous visits. Can't wait to come back for more!
All of the food are extremely overpriced and the portions are extremely small, not worth it at all. The kimchi stew and Army stew doesn’t have the local taste of Korea. Not recommended. (all the the stew does not come with any rice on the side, have to order it separately, which is ridiculous)
Very good place to come and enjoy a tasty and delicious food with your friends and family. For sure you will get the best Korean fried chicken. Don’t miss it!
