What a great experience wonderful people and a great little van can highly reccomend to anyone travelling tasmania.once again tnx for the wonderfull experience

We rented a Tassie Motor Shack van and couldn't have been happier. From the first minute when we were picked up at the airport it felt like we made the right choice to book here. The owners Rob and Jo were very welcoming, well prepared, organized and took their time to make us feel happy and comfortable with our new temporary home. The camper was in a very good shape, was clean and equipped with everything you need for a good time.
Without anything to worry about the stunning nature of Tasmania was even better:).

Unfortunately we had an accident towards the end of our trip. But even then Rob and Jo helped us quickly and in any way they could to find a good solution. We were even able to finish our trip with an alternative van.
Especially for us, usually living on the other side of the planet, it was good to have someone helpful anf friendly by your side in this situation.

All in all we left Tassie with truckloads of wonderful memories and are grateful for having met such lovely people like Rob and Jo and everything they have done for us.

Next time Tassie: We already know where to get a camper:).

What can i say but they are the best. This is
my 2nd review i have put up as not sure about my first and want to have my say. Firstly Rob & jo are lovely. So natural and chilled out. Im a solo traveler. The camper was ideal Great for a solo traveler. Had the camper for 2wks. Had no trouble at all. Holiday went as smooth as can be. Had no trouble either getting my bond back. Will definitely be back.

We couldn't rate Tassie Motor Shacks more highly! Incredibly friendly customer service above and beyond what you expect, and the van was in great condition. They were also very accommodating, especially during the current health situation where we had to cut our Tasmania road trip short by 2 weeks! They provided us with a full refund which we are so grateful for. Hoping we can make it back to Tasmania to pick off where we left off, and we will be looking to re-book with Tassie Motor Shacks!

Look no further for travelling Tassie by campervan! By far the best quality and value out there from a family run business. I rented a 2 birth hi top which had everything you need to cook and relax. Free collection and drop to the airport also. No problems for the week. Would highly recommend!

Hired many campers, Tassie Motor Shacks is up there with the best, great van, price and service was excellent.
I cleaned the van for $10 @ local service station so there was no issues. Bargain.

My boyfriend and I spend a week inside one of their van and it was amazing! Rob took the time to show us everything about the van and to explain what was expected from us at the end (to clean the van, fuel up and fill up the water tank).

It is a small family business and it is perfect that way! The van was really clean, well equiped, easy to drive and comfy inside. It is easy to discuss with them and they are ready to help you if they can!

Fantastic owner operated small business. So much better than renting from a big name corp. These guys exceeded our expectations and made our trip to Tassie even better than we’d hoped. Amazing vans that are filled with thoughtful extra amenities. We had a Toyota Hiace which was perfect for the two of us. Would definitely rent from Tassie Motor Shacks again and recommend to anyone else to do the same.

The company name Shack almost put us off booking as we wanted a quality Merc RV with a good overall package and price. Fortunately we checked out all the excellent web site comments and now want to add our praises to the long list. The vehicle was clean and well presented with everything you could need plus we had booked at the last minute and Rob the Director was extremely helpful and friendly. Our two week holiday went without incident and the Merc was very easy to drive. Talking to other people who had hired a Merc off the major hire companies, they all said that our RV was better equipped, better condition and a better price. We were amazed that it only took a few days for our deposit to be refunded in full. Many thanks to you Rob Moore.
