I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. This 'family run business' allows their abattoir workers to inflict horrendous acts of unnecessary cruelty on their live animals prior to slaughter. There is absolutely NO excuse for this inhumane behaviour and complete disregard for another living being, and it must STOP. You have to be an unempathetic psychopath to act like this.

Won’t allow me to give no stars so you get one. Wouldn’t take my cows there if you were the only abattoir in Tassie. They deserve better.

Slaughterhouses are places of violence to begin with, but what this place does to animals goes beyond that. There is a systemic culture of disregard for animals. The brutalisation of infant calves, the kicking, punching, torture of sheep and lambs, it is truly unconscionable.

They need to sort out their animal cruelty issues. Some of their employees are low life animals, way lower than their innocent victims. They beat and cause immense suffering to the animals. Gutless thugs, evil human beings. Those employees should be in prison and I hope they're sentenced soon. I'd love to meet them to teach them a few things.

Now operating Halal slaughter i.e slitting animals throat so it can die slowly.

Tasmanian Quality Meats was subject to an animal cruelty investigation. Footage showed sheep being kicked and beaten yet they were given a government payout by the Tasmanian Government.disgusting!
