Tasmanian Air Tours

We did the DELICIOUS TASTING FLIGHT – TASMANIAN CHEESE, TIPPLES AND WINE tour. The gins, cheeses, wines and lunch at each stop were great. The perfect way to sample just a little bit of Tassie's wares. The views were stunning! Whilst we took plenty of photos, it was nice to be able to take it all in through our own eyes rather than through the phone camera. Paige picked us up and dropped us off from our accommodation and she was an absolute delight to be with. Our pilot John was great too. His passion for what he does shines through, and he made us feel very comfortable in the chopper. I can't recommend this experience enough. In the words of the great man "Do yourself a favour" and book this in. You won't be disappointed.

What an amazing day! Thank you to Johnno for being a wonderful pilot and host for the day. His knowledge of Hobart and surrounding areas is first class. The day was planned and actioned to perfection and the destinations were the best. Highly recommend to do it for that special occasion (like ours was) or just for a great way to see Hobart and the Peninsula areas from a different view.

Thanks to John for the helicopter tours they were both amazing. It’s the best way to see Tasmania. Will definitely be back to do it again.

My Wife surprised me on our honeymoon. What an awesome experience from being picked to dropped off the hospitality was amazing. Lunch at frogmore estate winery was beautiful and the wines were great. Couldn’t recommend this company enough.

Absolutely amazing. Everything was so perfect. Landing on the lawn at the winery was spectacular. The food was so beautiful. Cannot fault it.

We used Tasmanian Air Tours to fly us to a beautiful headland to have our wedding photos taken. Our pilot was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We could not recommend them enough for any tour or special moment!

With an extremely warm welcome and introduction to the pilot it was a fantastic start the flight and commentary was first class and to Frogmore Winery for lunch which was the best meal we have ever had the whole experience was beyond believe.

Had an amazing experience. We had a great flight over Hobart and a lunch at Frogmores. Lunch at Fogmores is always great but the helicopter ride made it more than amazing. Thank you for a fantastic experience and we look forward to doing it again.

The whole experience was perfect from pick up to drop off and the team couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. This was the absolute highlight of our holiday and we didn't want it to end - we will definitely be back to enjoy your tour offerings again. We only wish we could give you more than five stars!

What a day for flying!

The pilot was amazing. Nothing was missed, all
the way from the safety brief until we got off the
tarmac. And all the knowledge of the area, made
me want to come back to Tasmania and explore
more. The ride was smooth and barely noticed the
take off and landing.

My wife and I booked the tour which included lunch at Frogmore winery. The staff were very friendly, the tour was well organised and arriving to Frogmore via helicopter was amazing. Also, the lunch was incredible - easily one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay in Tassie. This flight and lunch experience was the highlight of our honeymoon so we definitely recommend - 10/10!

Cannot recommend this group highly enough. What a brilliant day! Everything about the day was wonderful, stress free and just really enjoyable.
A smooth/stress free pick up first thing in the morning set the pace for the day. Our pilot John was so easy going, a great tour operator and smooth pilot. The choice of McHenrys distillery, Frogmore winery and Killara distillery was a great combination. Was interesting but relaxing. The day felt unhurried and well managed. The view of Tasmania from a helicopter is stunning, a must do as a special and memorable treat.

We were lucky enough to have 2 pilots for the day, John and Ben.they were both excellent and gave great insight to the landscape and scenery. They chose excellent distilleries to stop at and it was a nice relaxing pace for the day. The lunch at Frogmore Creek winery was a great experience. If this is on your bucket list then we highly recommend the splurge.

Absolutely sensational from start to finish!
The staff were attentive and friendly, easy to talk to and knowledgeable.
Julian was an amazing pilot with a ready smile and was interested in my partners knowledge of the area and took us past his place so he could get aerial photos - added bonus!
The meal from Bangor was delicious and the feeling that we were VIPs landing in the area to other diners gave us a giggle
The beach itself was magnificent and we truly loved every minute - 100% would recommend!

Absolutely brilliant experiences x2 during our Tassie holiday. Friendly and engaging pilots gave insightful tours over the beautiful Tasmanian landscape and delivered us firstly from Freycinet to Maria Island - thanks Ben - and then through the “top shelf” experience from Hobart, where we got a rockstar welcome at Frogmore Creek - thanks pilots John and Greg, and cheers to our fellow travellers who were great company. Highly recommended - we loved every minute.
