Tandy's Alehouse reviews
36Featuring beer from local Tasmanian boutique breweries, a great little pub with atmosphere in a converted inner city street shop. Seating at the bar, lounge and outside with tassie aircon or heaters if required. Food available (pizza, Italian, Indian) from local nearby restaurants that deliver for free. A variety of lager, ale, wheat beer, stout, cider, wine and more. Just had the choc-milk stout from T-bone brewing co, very nice!
An excellent venue to hang out and be social with friends - a lounge like atmosphere, quiet enough for conversation with a great selection of small brewery beers on tap. And no pokies!
Friendly vibe, good atmosphere even on a Monday night. Out of soda water which was weird, but a great place to hand out in the evening.
Great range of Tassie beers on tap, spirits and wine together with fabulous service winner winner!
I've become a fan over the last 2 years, preferring this venue to it's competitor up and around the corner. Smaller, not overcrowded and applauded for their stand on supporting 100% Tasmanian Bev's.
Good selection of craft beers in a friendly environment and don't forget they promote byo food.
Nice spot, good selection of beers, old lounge chairs. Not a huge area. Worth a few beers and chat with some friends.
Great to see such dedication to Tasmanian beers, wine and spirits but the atmosphere is a little lacking, accoustics are off, the tv in the front bar for sports is a backwards step and attracts a less desirable crowd IMHO.
Great selection of Tasmanian beer & cider, bar games, allows dogs and you can order in outside takeaway for dinner! Such a ripper spot
Come here for a real local experience. The owner, Pete (I believe), chatted to us for ages about different things to do around Tas and local brews. Great time here, heaps of cool brews on tap. And local spirits too.
This is the best pub I have been to. If you love good brew. If you enjoy craft beer. The lines from the keg room are where you stand. With fresh beer on draught, the pints held my hand. The keg room lights up with a display window. And the taps with decals show an artistic description of beer. They line the list of two panels, elite beer ready to sip. The Chico Simcoe IPA by Spotty Dog Brewers was my favourite delicious skol. And Byron the bartender was welcoming and informative about the many varied hops of the Tasmania region. A visit to tandys.beer tells tales of my many adventures visiting this place. When I die and go to Valhalla, I hope Tandy's Alehouse is there.
A pleasant deck to sit back with a cold beer in your hand. This is now one of my favourite establishment to enjoy.
Really good, dropped in after work, im not big on craft beers but tandys draught was great and the staff were excellent. Plan on staying longer and getting some food next time, cheers:)
Great spot for a quality brew. Service is brilliant. Great range of beers. Good atmosphere at any time. Definitely recommend for a quiet beer.
Great place reasonable prices and food from various local restaurants delivered and cleared for you when finished. Fantastic
Always a good vibe here. Always changing up the taps. Can get take away food delivered and they also have Jenga and Uno
