Great little pub. The food is really nice because they keep it to simple pub food and prepare it nicely. It's a great venue if you like sports as there's always plenty of sports on the screens. I highly recommend this place

The Xmas lunch was delicious and enormous, the soup was lovely, the main course was very oversized, but stone cold. The meat was cooked perfectly but the vegetables were over cooked and cold. The pudding was obviously served a long time before taken to the table, the custard was cold and had a thick dry skin over it, from obviously sitting around in the kitchen. The proprietors had no staff rostered on to help and it became very muddled. No coffee or tea was offered.

Absolutely the best meal I have had in a long long time! It was out of this world! New Menu and New Chef. The meal sizes are huge, the freshness and the presentation of the meals. STUNNING If you want a great quality meal at a great price.then you need to come here. Great to have restaurant quality meals at a suburban pub. Great Job Talbot Hotel! Can't wait to my next visit.

Really great service and food was amazing. Only had short menu due too only just getting new chef. But was still so good. I recommend the chicken bites and onion rings as starters. Well worth it
