Tailrace Centre

We had an amazing experience planning our wedding at Tailrace. It was so easy to work with the girls and they helped us with everything leading up to the wedding. Food was absolutely delicious and we had our big day exactly as we wanted with the help of Nicole and rest of the staff. Thank you for this amazing experience.

My partner and I got married in march last year and they was absolutely amazing! They did everything to make sure we had the best day possible. Wedding planning is very stressful and they made it so much easier. They are amazing and the venue is amazing.

Amazing food and attentive staff! Laura, our main bartender for the night, has been exceptional! Overall, amazing service! Would definately come back, and will be recommending to others!:)

I cannot speak highly enough of the services provided at the Tailrace Centre. Nothing is a problem for them especially David, who makes sure all our events run smoothly. Nicole is a delight to deal with. The catering is always spot on. Highly recommend having your next event there.

From my experience, tailrace serves the most beautiful and tastiest meals anywhere in Australia️. I have attended two functions there in the last 4 days and I can't wait for the next. Well done and a big congratulation from me

I live near this centre and last Saturday night the music from a party held there was very very loud until 11.30 pm. It was so loud it seemed to come from the next room of my house. I think the party-goers would not like to think they kept two children with Covid and an elderly women awake. They can still enjoy themselves when the music is quieter. I cannot recommend a place that allows this noise pollution.

Hosted a public speaking training event at the Tailrace Centre today and the made it so easy. The space was just how I needed it, the team super helpful with all requests and participants loved the food.

Our go to place for work training. Staff at the venue are excellent, very attentive and responsive. Food was delicious, great variety and looked after all of our dietary requirements. Gets better every time we attend.

Great views! The cafe food was fine, with friendly service. Huge playcentre for kids, full of activities. All of it very reasonably priced. Nearly deserted while we were there (during a school day)

Spent all afternoon there didn't see one tail let alone a race of them.must have been their day off

Lovely place. Lots to do there.
The two disappointing thing was the water pipes in the corner of the room are very noisy when it's raining. Quite near the the front of the projector and speaker stand.
The microphone needs not to be sensitive, someone needs to be available to adjust to the room and to the presenters using it.

Great food and service. The only suggestion would be to extend the playground opening hours past 2pm.

Room and facilities were great! We had a set menu which was delicious and well presented. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for conferences.

The heart behind Tailrace blows me away. The staff genuinely invest in their customers, the kids playground is sooooo much fun, the food is great, and you get some of the greatest views going around!

No signage on the outside of the buildings to say where Reception is, or where the Conference centre is. You have to go inside one of the buildings to find out where to go. I was only thankful that I did not have to trudge thru the surrounding gardens to find out where to go. They have 4 bins outside the Conference Centre which have Love, Joy, Peace & Hope written on them. However, a Reception and Conference Centre sign would be most helpful for those who have never been to Tailrace Centre before.

I love every experience I have at the Tailrace. It is so homey and friendly. The staff are amazing. The food is always yummy and it is fantastic for the kids!

Great location, always friendly staff and fantastic food, the new menu is tops! We love the tailrace for all occasions!
