Swansea RSL Club Bistro

A bit disappointed. Was going there to have pork belly but menu changed. Much simpler menu and overpriced. Atmosphere was good and staff is friendly. Food disappointed.

Hello 80's. The decor is extremely ordinary, the menu very limited. The food is okay.

My partner had the scallops and i had the lamb shank.
Very busy tonight so we had to sit in the bar area. Bought drinks at the bar which are reasonably priced and ordered food in the bistro. Decor nothing fancy but when meals arrived after a small wait was very impressed with potion size and quality. Chips were replaced with sweet potato fries due to a national chip shortage and were an excellent swap.
In total cost $88 for 4 drinks and 2 mains.
Great value for money.

I found Tassie food expensive all around island. Huge servings, everything freshly prepared, very tasty. Very friendly service

Really great dinner and delicious cold beer. Best to make a booking because they get really busy. Best scallops I've ever had.

Great Feed. Best chicken schnitzel and mushroom gravy. So good we went back the next night. Great value food and drinks. Make a booking as it gets busy! Staff are friendly and helpful.

My husband and i went to the RSL Swansea tonight. I had the scallops and he had the steak. My scallops were incredible, succulent and cooked to perfection. They would rival many top restaurants in our home city of Perth. I can’t remember ever having ones as nice. Price reasonable and large portions. My husbands steak was cooked to perfection. We are both foodies and I would certainly question anyone who didn’t have the same experience as us. Staff were lovely too.

Wow! Great food and extremely reasonably priced local Tasmanian wine. Friendly staff, good service in a clean and COVID safe venue.

Food was awful t bone steak was tuff. Used to be a good place to eat. Not much choice on the menu very poor what happened to the oysters on the menu gone. Most of the stuff was cheap nasty processed rubbish bought in frozen. Won't be back anytime soon unless they get new owners. ️ The actual rsl club itself was a great place to have a drink and a relax staff very nice and helpful

Little RSL with happy local people enjoy their time in there. Two of us went in for food as asian tourists and people in there were having some kind of game. They stopped laughing and staring at us, making us uncomfortable. We didn't bother go thru those lovely people to the bar and interrupt them having a good time.

Food was terrible, locals were racist to Asian customers and unfriendly to anyone that isn't from Swansea.

Bloody beautiful.fast freindly staff.obviously new cook at the helm from last time parmy was awsome. Well done on turning the tables around guys

Fantastic - beautiful roast pork, followed by very nice pavlova, topped off with friendly service.

A super friendly local establishment. The authentic RSL experience. Highly recommended for a beer.
