Swansea Holiday Park reviews
60Great cheapish accommodation, for an over night stay, easy access to the beach, great service, food and restaurants close by
Stayed at a Powered site here last night and couldn’t recommend more. Staff were so friendly and the ammenities were all very clean and family friendly. A high chair was available for our use, which was the only camp to provide one during our stay in Tassie. Really family friendly atmosphere, lovely grassy sites which were big and loved hearing the waves at night. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. From Forbes, NSW.
This park is absolutely gorgeous. The entire park is extremely neat and tidy with lovely grassy sites and easy access to the picturesque beach. The amenities were modern and spotlessly clean. Quiet and relaxing. Great sleeping to the sounds of the waves crashing nearby. Pet friendly is a bonus. The Staff are warm and welcoming and have a great knowledge of the area. One of, if not the best park we have stayed at. Had we known what a wonderful park it is we would have stayed more than two nights. We will definitely be back. Very highly recommended.
BIGGEST of THANK YOU'S to Peter & Janelle at Swansea Caravan Park for looking after us over Easter when we lost power. They went above and beyond, forever great full
Wow where to start.the owners Janelle and peter were so kind and helpful they know all the places too visit and are always smiling, laughing and ever so helpful. We had a small issue with our caravan and Peter didnt hesitate to come over with his power tools and fix the problem and without us even asking.
The grounds were immaculate the lawns like lush carpet. The amenities were always 100 percent spotlessly clean their staff do an amazing job and always so friendly. The kitchen/ lounge area provided comfort with tv, heating, magazines, games and all cooking facilities you could imagine not too mention the best coffee and hir chocolate machine. For those that travel with dogs it is pet friendly. There is a lovely vegetable patch you can wonder through and help yourself. Great location right opposite the beach and close to many tourist attractions. I really cant fault this park at all and im very fussy. I will hopefully get too return next year. Thank you for 2 fabulous weeks.
Great location in the middle of Swansea, the owner Janelle was very helpful with late check in and tips on bushwalking in Freycient NP. Clean and spacious cabins with kitchen facilities
Very clean and tidy. It would be better to have a key code system rather than keys to get into the shower and toilet amenities.
Beautiful location, spotlessly clean park and amenities, backs onto the beach, great walking tracks, the best fenced dog park, great pub for meals and beers a short drive for the best Tassie oysters you will ever eat, what else can I say
We stayed as a family of 3 (2 Adults, 1 x 6 year old) in a cabin that sleeps 4. It was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well organised. The staff were friendly. The park itself had lovely green grass and is well maintained. There is an easy access gate at the back of the park which goes straight to the beach. However, the cabin that sleeps 4 was very small even for the 3 of us. We couldn't close our bedroom door as the bed blocked the bedroom door. The lounge suit only fits two people. I felt if there was a picnic table or somewhere to sit outside the cabin it would have been better. Unfortunately, there was nowhere to sit outside so we were all stuck inside on top of each other. We travelled around for 3 weeks in Tasmania staying in cabins at caravan parks and this was by far the smallest cabin we stayed in. Also, for anyone with younger kids there is no playground, or anything for them to do at the park. Great for older kids as they can just head to the beach on their own. I think this park would be amazing for people camping or travelling in a couple. The 4-bed cabins are more suited to two people. So if there are 4 of you, I would book the bigger cabins.
Stayed for 2 nights on a powered site, lovely park and owners, who swapped our site to one that was easy for me to reverse into since my hubby broke his ankle just before arriving! Great friendly service and super clean amenities with easy access to the beach.
Fantastic camping site, spotless amenities, very quiet, very well run and organised park!
Highly recommend, and very affordable!
What a great place. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean and great facilities. One of the best camp kitchens I have come across in my travels.
Absolutely beautiful park. Lush green grass, big sites. Spacious and clean amenities. Friendly and welcoming owners. Perfect beach access and view. Thoroughly enjoyed our night. Thanks for accommodating us!
It's a fantastic caravan park with large-level sites, with lush green grass under the awning. The amenities are some of the best I have seen so far and appear to be kept very clean at all times.
Incredible site! The showers were great and clean, it has a good access to the beach and when arriving after check-in hours, they leave you an envelope with good recommendations, information and a map of the place. Amazing experience in Swansea holiday park!
Beautiful cabins. Very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Couldn’t ask for any more.
Cosy self contained cabins, only stayed overnight but could easy spend a week here. Very close to the main street, places to eat, and a reasonably well stocked IGA (two actually). Would definitely recommend to anyone lookingfor accommodation but don't want to spend too much.
Staff were rude on arrival with our camper trailer even though it was ok'ed over the phone when booked. List of rules was huge and staff seemed to be constantly patrolling and watching on cameras to tell people off, including yelling at kids for playing in the communal lounge. Dogs are allowed and there was quite a few there, but the only annoying one belonged to one of the staff that lives on site, constantly barking during the night every time someone walked past. Would not stay again.
Very clean and inviting. The staff were great, and very helpful. Loved being a stone's throw from the beach.
2 nights are never enough. My Wife and I love this RV Park. Stargazing and the solid Seaview behind the park are definitely super bonus points that we never expect. We can access the beach through a private locked access.
We had to check in late, and keys are place nicely at the reception front with clear instructions. Super clean facilities.
Our vehicle's water hose and power cable are too short, and they even lent us both the items.
Really fuss free and will surely visit again when we are back in Tas.
