Sunset Beach Holiday Spot

Absolutely worthy campsite! Paid 20$ for two persons for one night, very clean facilities, separated for men and women. Even had a little outdoor kitchen (microwave, waterboiler, sink for doing dishes). There is a direct access to the beach, with stunning sunset!
Better call in advance when you know you will arrive after 6pm.
Definitely recommend that spot!

Clean hot showers, camp kitchen, level ground and a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets. Friendly host and peaceful.

UPDATE we have been coming here for four years and will keep coming for as long as Harvey will have us. To the complainers - this is Harveys private piece of paradise and its ok for him to be selective about who he lets in. Dont drive in expecting a spot when the signs clearly say No Vacancy or Closed. Dont ring up just before a long weekend expecting a spot as chances are it is already booked out. And the "no tent" rule is mainly because it can get very windy at times. With the people that sneak in and try to hide- how would you like others to sneak onto your private property to go for a walk and try to use your amenities and then sneak back out early morning.
Perfect spot, cheap rate, clean amenities, friendly and knowledgeable host with a beautiful Staffy -Ash. Show respect and you will be respected in return.

Made the unforgivable mistake of calling up when they had no spaces left and got a right earful for it, seems a shame that such a beautiful spot does little to soften the owner’s temperament, couldn’t imagine meeting him in traffic! Free spot up the road, attached to a pub full of friendly locals, if he drives you away too, come and join the others in a toast to dodging the bullet!

Harvey and Ash was the great hosts at staying at Sunset Beach. Clean toilet and showers. Walking the beach every morning with the dogs they love it. We will come back. Thanks Harvey and beautiful Ash.

The owner was very welcoming and advising of what to do in the general area, and also had a really cute friendly English Staffy that was also very welcoming!

Very clean and operable amenities as well which is a nice comfort to feel in a rest spot as such. Would go back again if I'm ever back down this way.

Terrible manner which is totally unnecessary. Apparently if you don’t book it’s unlikely you will get a spot even it looks pretty empty. Avoid this place.

Mean owner, just go 3km close to the pub to have free campsite with beer. Avoid giving money to mean people when Tasmania is full of nice people.

Harvey & his dog Ben very welcoming. Great camp, clean facilities, fresh water, beautiful beach and dog friendly. Will come back for sure

The spot is just beautiful and the owner is so friendly. Very good price for one night camping. Highly recommend!
