Still Thai reviews
40This is what you need when it’s cold and windy outside. Hot and spicy food, nice looking quiet place and good service too!
Great food, atmosphere & pricing.
It was recommended to us for our trip to Tassie & this is my review to recommend the venue to anyone else who is visiting.
Such a racist place. “Its not like your Indian curry “that the exact word me and my friends have to hear when we ask about a dish. The lady was very rude. Never go there until you want to be humiliated despite spending money
We ordered Thai fried rice with prawns and Tom yum soup with prawns and both the dishes were absolutely delicious. It's conveniently located and the staff were friendly as well. Highly recommended.
I've been here 3 times and each time the food has been amazing, with quality ingredients and really flavorsome. The service is quick and efficient, and the only knock would be that a smile here and there would make the service 5 star, but it doesn't detract from the fact that this is a top place to eat at.
The restaurant was small but popular and busy. I ordered the creamy tom yum pork and prawn noodle soup which was nice. The dish had two well-sized prawns, two pork & prawn balls with noodles and vegetables. The younger female staff member was polite but not so friendly.
Very happy with a group of dishes ordered, excellent balance of flavours, freshness and well presented. Delicious dumplings and some dishes not often seen in Thai tending fusion.
Service was super-fast (at near peak time). A real contender for go-to Thai in Hobart. I would be very happy to eat here/from Still Thai again and explore the menu.
We ordered takeaway delivered so cannot speak to the in-house experience.
I went there to see if in fact, they were only serving still thai food. The sign is amazingly accurate- the only food they are serving in there is actually still thai. Nothing else. I even tried to trick them and ask for Mexican food, but no. Still they insisted on making only thai food.
Food was below average, we tried few chicken items on menu but it was too dry, prawn dumplings were nice though. Not a place to go after a tiring day to relax, the ambience wasn't really appealing!
Best Thai food in Hobart. Staff are always friendly, service is always fast, and the food is as authentic as it gets without actually visiting Thailand.
Service and wait time was good. Entrees, Satay Chicken and Spring Rolls, were nice. However main courses were not. Tom Yum was bland, had to add our own flavours to get some taste. Beef Massaman was definitely not authentic, it was missing the sweet/sour flavour found in tamarind.
Fantastic small restaurant serving excellent Thai dishes at very reasonable prices. The flavours were amazing and staff very friendly! Loved it!
I ordered take-away chicken spring rolls and chicken pad thai. Both arrived within 5 minutes and both were delicious. I would recommend.
I have given 5 due to wonderful pork dumplings, great chicken and basil chilli chicken, and the prices. If there had been 4.5 I would have put that up as the beef masaman whilst lovely, has far too much potato. We will be back though.
Fantastic Friendly Thai Food.
Still Thai is my favourite authentic Hobart Thai restaurant. They now have a dining area upstairs. Food is even more delicious, if that is even possible
Bad service. Wait 45 mins. Order 4 main course no any rice or Noodle. You can just eat sauce in there (although the sauce did not taste good). After that we order 2 'large' size rice which the 'friendly' staff told us it will be enough for two people. I eat it one by myself and we are now going to McDonald for another meal
We loved our Pad See Ew and Massaman Curry! Cozy little place and well priced. I liked the drinks menu too as they didn’t only have standard drinks.
Quite disappointing. The flavors were not pleasant. Lots of heat but lacking flavor. I was really looking forward to it, too.
Maybe I am still big fan of Sydney food.
We order fried rice and stir fried hokien noodle. The portiona are small considering the price is above average. Too greasy for Thai food. Not authentic Thai food and the menu is limited. No comment about the service except it took bit long, abour 25mins to serve. However, The toilet is clean and atmosphere ia welcoming.
