Stanley Seaview Inn

The accommodation was o.k. Needs updating in some areas. We booked a 2 bedroom chalet for 4 adults but it only had 3 lounge seats which were old and worn. The smoke alarms are old and non compliant. The pipes rattle and bang and you can hear other rooms flush a toilet or shower. The rooms are light up light a Christmas tree at night so not much sleep. The beds are hard and it feels like you were sleeping on a board. The 1st reception lady (American accent) a little rude but the second one was nice. The plates were dirty upon entry and we had to clean them before using them. Items missing from mini bar so maybe a good idea to check so you don't get charged for things that you didn't take but otherwise that's it.

Close by Penguin viewing is exceptional.
And climbing the nut is challenging but worth it at the top.

This was our favourite accommodation out of two weeks in Tasmania. The manager/owner was so lovely and helpful. The bar was warm and inviting and the rooms were clean and tidy. The view was definitely the highlight. Waking up in the morning and being able to see The Nut from our room's window was awesome. We wish we had of booked to stay longer here! Highly recommend Stanley Seaview Inn.

Fabulous! Would have loved to have seen a restaurant or dining area but super friendly staff and the best hot chocolate ever.

This place rates well in all departments: value for money, delightful young lady at reception, location re proximity to town and to its most-visited tourist attraction (The Nut - look it up!), beautiful rural setting and spacious feel-good rooms. Particularly appreciated 2 special touches: gorgeous Penguin soft toy (looked like it was surfing the bed) and loaf of sliced bread accompanying toaster in room.

Upgraded to a family unit, so lots of space. Well equipped for a family of up to 5. Comfortable, clean and a great view of The Nut and the water through the window.

What can one possibly say? Absolutely beautiful views in a clean pristine heavenly place. Beautiful neat as a pin clean spacious little apartment like units and wonderful People in Clinton, koby and there family. Nothing but warm, kind and lovely people. Most highly recommended.

What a view! The place has a great view. Nice comfortable place, spacious and clean. Very nice service and friendly staffs. Will recommend this place.

This place had good comfortable bed, clean rooms, and an amazing hot shower with great water pressure. I couldn’t get enuf of the hot shower. Definitely would recommend for anyone who’d be looking for an accomodation in Stanley. Also a great view of the nut from your room.

Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and obliging staff, good food and great views of the coast and The Nut make this a tremendous place to stay.

THE place to stay if you are in Stanley. Amazing view of "The Nut", spacious and well appointed cabins. There is also a small playground if you have young children - complete with cows! And a guest laundry.

High end motel for Stanley, a couple of k's out of town over looking Stanley with the nut and ocean views from the door.great rooms butt no microwave.be prepared for wind.no restaurant, room mini bar.highfield house and a quaint town plus the "nut" chair lift, good beach worth the visit

Located above the city with a great view of the Nut. The room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony looking over Stanley. A short drive from the beach and in a nice quiet area.

Fabulous views and lovely room. The spa bath was a treat. Thanks for the extra heater too, I was very comfortable.

Really nice place to stay. Staff are extremely friendly and only too happy to help. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, great shower and water pressure. Views are amazing.

Just 1 issue, that was with people next door to us. They reversed their car up, so in the morning, all the exhaust cam right into our room. Might need to place signs up for front to curb parking only.

Great view! Nice clean room, great water pressure. Only downside was an inconsiderate neighbour who parked with his exhaust facing the rooms & gased us early in the morning. So the manager may consider signage to say park facing room.
