St Leonard's Dog Park reviews
24Great park with BBQ's, small playground, dog park, swimming areas, and lots of space for just lying around.
Excellent quiet spot. I see people fishing and swimming regularly there are public toilets and a dog run nice place to sit down for lunch.
A beaut place to walk your dogs and let them run in the fenced enclosure. Also has toilet facilities there. Has provision for picnic type tables. Wonderful for a summer outing. A great swimming hole for the hot summer days also. It is close to shops in central St Leonards also.all up a great place.
Excellent facilities, bags are full, bins are empty. Grass is mowed and there's little debris.
Maverick has a ball!
Great spot for the pooches to cool down and stretch their legs. Water lovely and warm. Great for senior dogs who can't walk far anymore like my girl.
Beautiful place for a swim, bbq's, lots of shade, and a huge grasses area. You don't have any problems with the dogs being walked.
Family friendly picnic grounds, wide open spaces. River atm in February good depth for swimming for all ages.
There is also a dog park in same area closer to Rd intersection for your pets
Lovely family park area by the river with plenty of parking and a secure off leash area for your furbaby to run, socialise and have a swim
Great piece of land for dogs but could do with some segregation for timid dogs and boisterous dogs. All dogs deserve a place to play with other dogs but some could take your legs out from under you and they're not necessarily all the big ones. Some of the more timid dogs also can't get away from your average, friendly canine buddy but are fine around equally timid dogs. Aside from that it's a fun place to visit.
More dogs outside the joint than in it take it away sick of dogs and owners who allow them to run all over you when swimming
Best dog park in Launceston area. They can swim in the creek (with mini waterfall), ALL THE DOGS there are super friendly. And get along well, and during the weekend day times there's around 20 to 30 dogs there most times (no visous or angry ones). Our boy loves it there
My dog loves this park. Great for hot afternoons. Always dogs there. Always friendly and nice. Nice fresh water and my kids swim in there. It's all fine. My dog loves the walk up and done the bank. ️ it. Perfect. Best in Launceston
Bbq areas, kids play equipment, local river but best to keep your eye on children as not patrolled. Sometimes one of the neighbours pet chickens come out to say hello.
This is a ripping little park that's a great place to walk and socialise your dog, or yourself.
Small dog area. A bit dirty little grassed areas. Some irresponsible dog owners get there who dont appreciate other dogs on leads. Okay.
I was using the dump point and filling up with water for the caravan but the park was nice with picnic tables
St. Leonards is a good place to take the dogs for a swim. Has a little walking path, one way about a 5 minute walk round trip.generally a few people there. Dogs are usually well behaved. Some of the local kids swim in there too. It is fenced for most of it. The river side isnt fenced for obvious reasons.
River side dog park perfect location but fellow dog owners please pick up after your dogs or we will lose it
Nice place to go for a short off lead walk with your dog. Mostly fenced but no fences to keep your dog out of the river. We had to go to the dog wash after we went here.
