Springlawn Campsite reviews
7A great camping area. Toilets clean and adequate. Sites large, with nice separation. A couple of good walks to do, or just relax by the estuary.
A great national park campground. Where can you get a power site with a shower for $20. Great walks both to the lake and across to the beach.
A special place away from hustle & bustle, kept immaculate by parks & wildlife staff.
A treasured place.
Always a great time here. Just relaxing and mingling with the wildlife. Plenty of new Joey's around and Mums keen to show them off it seemed.
Nice cost effective place to camp the night.
The beach is really nice, watch out for snakes
Good facilities and well maintained. Token operated showers with tokens available at the visitors centre. Campsites are a bit close together - the one on the other side near the river is more spread out but you've got a 5 minute drive to get back to the showerblock.
You can buy tokens from the visitor centre for $2 that give you a 4 minute hot shower. We saw many Native Hens wandering around the campground area. No fires are permitted at the Springlawn campground, although all fires are allowed at the Bakers Point campground which is only 4 km away. You must bring your own firewood or buy it from the visitor centre. Several of the major walks in the park begin from the Springlawn campsite - walks to Archers Knob, Badger Head and Point Vision.
