Springfield Laundrette

Washing machines wasn't running with coins. I lost few coins and had to pay electronically to active.

Where do I even start…
- More than 5 appliances out of order
- Only 2 dryers that accept online payments and only 2-3 dryers that expect coins available, including one dryer which the door doesn’t stay closed.
- The whole laundry mat is dirty and hasn’t been throughly cleaned in a long time!
- The dryers & washing machines are absolutely filthy (see attached photos)

I was honestly gobsmacked at how highly neglected this place is. Please for the sake of your business & customers take 2-3 hours a week to throughly clean this place properly, along with daily cleans.
The photos don’t even do this place justice to show how filthy it is. I’m sadden to write such a poor review.

Bring a lot of $1 coin when you coming, Otherwise you'll leave with wet clothes, Only $2 coins can be exchanged here.

The bottom far right dryer doesn't work tonight (27/10/2022) and no out of order sign.spent a few dollars and wasted 30min only to find that clothes still wet.

I used it cause I live next door, but this has been an extreme disappointment
They charge full price like other laundromats and don't provide hot water. Only cold water wash! Also, so many times it took the coins and the machine got stuck. Had to call and go through ling procedures. The owner does pick up the phone though. Machines are mostly dirty and leave particles on clothes. You can see the dirt on the machine lids and hinges.

Dryers are useless, clothes still wet. Waste of money, can't recommended.
Not the cleanest place either.

I have used 1 no lower dryer first for drying my clothes it doesn't work then I have used the upper no 1 dryer but the results was same. My clothes was half dried after that I tried calling that number mention for problem that number was not working also. After all that I used no 2 dryer finally my clothes get dried.it cost me 15$ for normal load of clothes drying today.very bad customer service

Just washed my clothes at the moonah laundry and went to the Springfield one to dry my clothes as the driers were all being used there. So I go in and out of 8 driers 4 of them were out of service I thought oh well my luck so I wait. Then a man comes in to fix them it might have been the owner because he said they cost about 12,000 dollars each and anyway he removed an out of service sign put $1 in it and tested it, he then said it was working and I could have the rest of the time on the dollar he put in I thought that's nice so I put $6 in and he told me that is probably a bit to much anyway I thought all good at least I know they will be dry. I come back after waiting 35 minutes and my clothes were not dry one bit. Do your self a favour and use the moonah laundry as it actually works.

Awesome laundromat. I parked up roughly 40mins before it opened and the owner let me in early. Provided the coins, advice on how to wash my wool wear and were friendly to chat with. Highly recommend. Great service, hospitable, decent prices, plenty of machines.

Well this was a interesting experience, very busy not very clean, but not super dirty. Only half the dryers working all the rest out of order.

But what really got my got was this guy below who thought it was ok to dry his dirty car mats in dryers we all use to dry our clothes. So if you see this man or his white Honda CR-V parked outside I would stay away and try another day unless you want to get his dirt over your clean clothes. Disgusting

Bring $1 x 5 for the wash, 20¢ for the washing powder.
Driers are $1 per five minutes
Open late (10pm)
Takes ONE dollar coins only.no coin machine and the local shop does NOT give dollar coins.

Good machines, location near to cafe, junk food, plenty of parking

Always a great place to dry our clothes, the site is nice and clean when there. Cheap and always happy with speed.

Fabulous facility. Open despite Covid19 restrictions closing other places. Clean. Heaps of machines including 18kg one for blankets and doonas just $8 wash. Soap dispenser working. Corner shop has friendly staff who will exchange coins and you can buy a drink whilst you wait for washing to finish! Definitely recommended

This place was lovely and clean and the washers etc were great they also have a big washer for blankets.would advise to take your own powder and coins are available at the little corner shop (and food).
Also get super freaking steamy when its cold out and all the dryers are going hahaha.ohh and they have like a book swap thing so you wont be bored

Clean, easy, and reasonable price. Friendly and helpful owner was also on site when we were there.

Easy to use. Has chairs to sit on. Corner store nearby. Park your car out the front and happy days.
