Southern Apartments Launceston

No dryer. No dishwasher. Beds uncomfortable. Garden bed in way of car park on unit 1. We accidnetly hit it and before we had a chance to fix it up the owners took $500 off of us. Unit 1 also has people living upstairs who are loud and bang around at night. We won't be staying again.

My time at Southern apartments was a wonderful experience. I was visiting the area under very emotional family events and was limited in movements due to covid restrictions. Bek the manager was so very approachable and accommodating right from the very first phone call to discuss my unique travel needs. She was very professional and kind in her help. The area was quiet. The apartment was presented extremely well and when anything else was required Bek was always easy to communicate with and followed through.
My stay was a sad personal time and bek's kindness and professionalism was very comforting. I am very happy to recommend southern apartments as a place to stay. I would most definitely stay there again.

Owner is fantastic to deal with. Happily accommodated my last min booking request with an extra early check in. New and modern accomodation. Would happily stay again

I have nothing but praise for our stay at Southern Apartments. The owner Bek went out of her way to help us even supplying a porto cot for our infant and bringing us coffes from a local Cafe. The apartment was spotless and very modern being stylishly renovated, loved the big shower with drop down ceiling shower head.
I would not hesitate to stay here again and definately reccomend this as a top choice accomodation in a very convenient location.

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment beginning of May for 10 days. The apartment was spotless and the level of comfort high. The beds and linen were 5 star. It was a very comfortable apartment and the owners had thought of everything. Although it was cold we didn't need the reverse aircon on so in answer to a comment on here and a rating of 1 star, the owner Rebecca was lovely and couldn't be more helpful, if after washing you need to dry clothes the aircon on at night for a few hours would be sufficient, certainly not running all day when no ones home. We gave the owners 5 stars for their committment to excellence.

The apartments were fantastic, very modern and spacious. Perfect if you want to self-cater whilst visiting Launceston. We only stayed one night but the owners were very helpful and gave us a late check out as we weren't due to pick up our rental car from the airport until 12pm. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Launceston. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

The operator turned off the heating without any notice.
We thought the heating was broken when we went home, then we found that it was turned off outside.
Feel disrespected!

The operator and his family live on second floor of the building, everyday their children running and jumping which make noises and disturbances during our stay.

If the heating is set to 30 degrees, it is actually not comfortable, and the temperature in the room is only set at 20-22 degrees. Just wonder how to know that the room is set to 30 degrees?
Because COVID19 so we trapped in Tas, the household thinks we have no work and stay at home all day, which raises a lot of electricity costs, they increase the rent during COVID19.

The owners have been nothing but helpful in handling our booking during this tough time. It is unfortunate to see a single whole family write terrible reviews when our experience is the complete opposite. Just seems like disrespectful clients taking advantage to me.

We can't wait to come and stay once we can travel again!
