We did the amazing Labillardiere Peninsula Walk which is one of Tasmania’s 60 great short walks. It took us 5 hours. The terrain was very diverse from wide tracks to narrow tracks and through low bushes and onto sandy beaches and even rocky beaches. The views were incredible and well worth the effort- a highly recommended hike.

Check out the lighthouse and the museum, pay the $10 and climb to the top of the lighthouse, the view is amazing.

Great trail running/hiking on Labillardiere track to secluded white sand beaches. Tracks are a bit technical in areas and not super maintained unlike freycinet. Some long grass in areas, so prepare for snakes and rolled ankles (like me, ouch) if your going quickly.

Lovely to place to visit when your on bruny Island. Only take about an 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal.
Make sure you pay your pass fees before you enter the park.

Great place. Boat cruise is great. Great cliff face views. Did not see any animals. Can get sea sick

It is one of the most stunning and iconic places in Tasmania. Do stop by the cheese factory, Oyester farm and chocolate factory.

Nice walk and stunning views. We had to head back from halfway though, as we spotted two huge snakes, on a part where it was difficult to see where we put the feet as the trail was covered by ferns, so we didn't get any further (just after the beach, opposite of the island)

How wonderful is this stop on the island it’s a bit of a walk up to the light house from the carpark, there’s toilets there as well and the views from here are just one of a kind.

In the wild Winter winds or balmy Summer days, it is beautiful, especially the lighthouse at dusk (gates close before but tours still allowed in)

Hmmm.maybe 4 some of you this place nothing special. But when I visited this place. I found this place have a good view.and if you can Go to the light tower.then you can see surrounding the island is really beautiful.but to get to the top of the tower you should make some donation.but really worth it.

Nice place for day out.but I think 1 day is not enough to admire the beauty of this island.the only way to get there is through a ferry but you will enjoy every bit of it if you are a nature lover.the drive around the island are awesome

We enjoyed the ferry ride over to the island, decided to go to Bruny island lighthouse via C629, the road turns to dirt, and can be a bit challenging at the south end in a normal sedan. The lighthouse carpark is fairly small, but the small museum is interesting, then you have a reasonable walk up to the Bruny island lighthouse, that's surrounded by nature.

The island itself was not bad for our first time. Adventure bay was probably the highlight very picturesque. Didnt get to the northern tip.

High viewpoint from the lighthouse. One of the few you can climb up from inside. Sometimes you can see the snow capped peaks

The last time I drove through Lockleys Rd and Staffords Rd with a 4x4 it was epic. This time I chose C629 Coolangatta Rd as I had a friend drive a FWD sedan behind me. Thus it was an easy access to that breathtaking rainforest. We pretty enjoyed the trip.

Great park. Jetty beach campsite is a great place to spend the night and swim in the beach. Recommend a visit. View from lighthouse is worth it.

Beautiful national park. Good facilities considering, but no water available. Stunning beaches.
