South Arm RSL & Community Club reviews
7Wonderful campsite. $5 per person/per night for a non powered site with spotless toilet and shower access. The RSL was so welcoming straight away, actually felt like locals who had been coming for years. They had a Chinese night on (we were there on a Sunday) and it was great! The lady behind the bar walked me through the huge amount of gluten free options. Overall great food, great service and great value for money.
Beautiful area, lovely food at RSL absolutely fantastic way that the war memorial is set up!
Great little stop over for a night or two.
Pretty much the end of the road down the south arm for camping grounds, showers, toilets, great food, cold bevies and good friendly locals inside.
It is an RSL so tidy casual dress is required.
Easy access for all abilities and the helpful staff are just great.
There is plenty of room for the kids to zoom around and a play ground also for them. The remembrance displays inside and out, are also very well presented and informative.
Would love to have stayed another night but had to go.
Thanks for a great stay all
Another great find in Tassie, so close to Hobart yet so far from anywhere. $5pp/nt you can park at this RSL / Golf club and use their extremely clean toilets and there’s also one shower for each ladies and gents. If you don’t need power or water hookup this is a great place to stay.
We enjoyed a reasonably priced meal from a large variety menu, come Sunday’s for the local market and enjoy “Asian night” menu at the club, where the most expensive dish is duck @ $23.
Really nice food and for a small price could stay night and use amenatis
We camped here two nights, the food was good grub and facilities were clean. Although the grumpy older man who we assumed was staff was a bit unpleasant. Clearly doesn't like campers. Stalked us at the showers in the morning then questioned our visit and later wandering around staring us down at dinner. But don't let that put you off, a great RSL
