Soundy Park reviews
23Great playground for kids, 3 types of slides which my little one loved. Fully enclosed area for off lead dogs (during certain times of day) and a handy public holiday, been clean when I've used it.
Beautiful shaded park. Plenty of parking available, dog park next door, fully gated with equipment for all abilities and ages.
Nice simple park with enough playground to keep the youngsters entertained. 2 barbecues. Loos nearby. No great view, but not overcrowded either.
Dog park with a low wall in one section.
Beautiful park. Dangerous to dogs, owners, and traffic due to wall.
A lot of the play equipment is for older children but our 2 & 4 year old still had fun there
The only playground in Hobart that my kids had the bad experience —— 1 little boy think it’s his own slide and his PARENTS: just watching and smiling when their kid PUSH other children aggressively.
Good enclosed play area, tables for picnics. Parking is a bit challenging depending on time and day
Good place close to the city for a barbecue, and because it is an off lead park for dogs, there was the added bonus of several dogs coming over to say hello, although one little scamp swiped my sausage
A nice park with reasonable facilities, including two distinct fenced areas. Some of the play equipment is designed for older children and the height is a challenge (even for some adults). Plenty of shade, picnic and BBQ facilities.
Good enclosed dog park. Lots of buddies between 430 and 630 PM.
Low heritage wall that most medium dogs could jump in one section, restrictive hours during day light savings (no off leash before 6PM).
Dog-friendly, big area for play equipment, toilets and disabled toilets come up plenty of equipment for kids to play with
A great little park for an inner city park, perfect for family’s and for dogs! Just be aware that it can be a little dodgy and to keep an eye out for used needles in and around the toilets, not very common because the council do a great job at keep it clean but just keep an eye out especially if you are there with kids!
Lovely park with play aread dedicated for little kids and teens and pre-teens. Also has barbecue stations and picnic tables and benches. Public toilets. And dogs are allowed in for certain periods of the day.
Great park but gate on Argyle at Smith st entrence has a large gap where small dogs can escape. Hobart council informed last week & am still waiting for a call back.
A very good park for the kids. Has an awesome slide. Also stuff for older kids. If you want a park that also has BBQ area and a big place to run around. This park is for you
Nice little park, great place to take the dogs for a run. Very nice enclosed secure play ground for the little ones and big kids alike.
Nice big shaded trees for those warmer days very nice to sit for a coffee or picnic.
Close to traffic so can be a little noisy.
The nices park iv seen in long time. Grand idear. Family's can take the dog plus there are things for the kids.barbecue tables. Its got it all.
It would be good for the Council to replace the wire fencing on top of the low stone fence
It was storm damaged when trees came down and has not been replaced; stone fence too low to keep medium to large dogs contained securely when off leash.
Great secure facility which keeps dogs and owners very happy except for missing fence. Low stone wall is aesthetically pleasing but renders useless all the security gates and high wire fencing. Lynne Barren and Renee the Reckless
BBQs, Seats, water tap for dogs, toilets, and open grassed area. Very nice for such a small place. And because it’s down a bit of a hill, the nearby roads don’t make much noise.
