Somerset Beachside Cabin & Caravan Park reviews
25Stayed for 4 nights and loved it! Being so close to the road was quite noisy but got used to it pretty quick. Great flat camping ground, close to toilets. No assigned spots which was great. Toilet/showers were always clean. Could do with an update but they were perfectly functional! Kitchen and laundry were great and so was the tv/pool room. Most of it seemed to be permanent residents but still enough room for camping and caravans. Staff were very helpful and cheery. Would definitely come back and bring some friends!
Only drove through to have a look weather it's something we were interested in staying at but unfortunately this park did not meet our requirements. Not implying the park is bad just not what we were after, didn't seem to have any descent sites for our 23 foot caravan and seems vast majority of sites are permanents.
Staff are dis interested.
Cabin's are rather unclean
Shared amenities are also unclean
Convenient location. Spacious and clean cabin. Dual air con, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, oven, toaster, hot plates, coffee tea supplies were provided. We booked online and paid on site. Staff was very cooperative.
The cutest little cabin. Spotlessly clean and warm.the owners were super friendly and helpful. Loved our little stop here!
I would highly recommend this caravan and cabin park. Great hospitality cabins were very comfortable and reasonably priced, would definitely come here again, just situated across the road from sommerset Beach I give this park a big thumbs up.
We enjoyed our stay in the caravan park. The female amenities were being updated so can only get better. The amenities were clean and spacious. A good spot to base to head off exploring. Good value.
Just spent 2 night here at it was beautiful.
Heated and air-conditioned cabin, clean and roomy.
Staff were excellent and would highly recommend. Thanks for looking after our group, we will be back.
Another must while travelling around Tassie. The best camp kitchen with everything you could need. And while cooking you can fit in a game of pool or watch some TV, all free to use.
Best place in town, lovely staff, need and clean bed room, kitchen and alot of parking available.i recommended everyone and lastly very reasonable chargers.
Great little place. Older little cabins. Don't expect luxury, but it is clean. There are all the amenities. The staff are very friendly.
Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent shower with good pressure and unlimited hot water. Bare wood lined cabin, despite 'no smoking' sign it was very smelly. No ceiling on the bathroom and the walls do not go all the way up to the pitched, timber lined roof - so nothing to isolate toilet sounds and smells from the kitchen and living area. Sound of rain on the roof was deafening, not much insulation? No wifi in the cabin. No fly screens! Clean bed linen, adequate bar heater, grubby floor, filthy TV remote looked like a bio hazard. No rain gutters and with cabins and static caravans packed in closely there was water everywhere after rain. Kitchenette a mixed bag, nice new cupboards, satisfactory appliances. However the laminex benchtop was completely worn through in patches and the functional crockery looked like it came from an op shop. Some of these things might be forgivable if the price is cheap, but the strong smoking smell and in particular the 'open top' bathroom were not OK.
Booking and check-in were easy. Extremely friendly reception. Cabins lovely and warm and clean. Great value. Neat and picturesque setting.
Lovely basic caravan Park with really friendly welcoming staff.
Nestled away in the trees right opposite the beach this caravan Park is In a great location. Only a $25 taxi ride to Burnie. Normal facilities you would expect. Powered sites. Cabins. It has an. 8 ball table.clean Common room/kitchen. Laundry. Gas bottle exchange on site. Dog friendly. Plenty of room out back or up front close to the beach.
Its a caravan park. There was alot of cabins and on-site caravans as well as powered and unpowered sites and a place to set up tents. The amenities were clean, the laundry was good. There was even a pool table - oh yeah!
Had a great time at Somerset Beachside Cabin & Caravan Park, Vicky and all the staff are so friendly a credit to all. We will be back next time in Tassie this park was one to remember for just relaxing by the campfire. Absolutely loved it
Vicki and her team were super hosts, very friendly and helpful. The little cabins are rustic but equipped with everything to be self sufficient and the amenities were great for our needs. It was a fantastic location, and fantastic value for money- definitely stay again
Good quiet Caravan Park, good location, the toilet block is in need of an update, but was well looked after, always clean, just old. The weather whilst we were here was terrible, and we spent most of our time in the van.
We stayed here a few weeks ago and had the best time the cabin was cute and suited our little family adventure, such a lovely stay we will docit again im the future thank you
We did a last minute booking.just as we expected good shower and kitchen with laundry.powered and non powered site for camping as well.the staff was helpful and really friendly.
