WOW! This Airbnb has by far been our favourite of all the others we’ve stayed at. From the moment we came down the drive way & saw the views down below from the hills we were like Ahhh this is beautiful and then as soon as we stepped inside there was slippers for us to put on our feet indoors. Dressing gowns were hanging on the door in the bedroom so I promptly got comfortable. The fridge had food for us to make a nice cooked breakfast and the most pristine, clear water to drink for days! There was a well thought out folder put together for guests containing all the information you would need & more. My husband was thrilled that there was a Bose system in the lounge room that he was able to listen to music through connected via his phone. As we entered inside the table was all set with overhanging low lights which created a peaceful and romantic vibe. And on the table was the most delicious cake that the host had baked- Indian turmeric and pumpkin.
I loved reading through the history of the family and their home, such an
Inspiring & admirable account of their lives since moving from Germany to Tasmania many years ago. The kitchen was incredible! It was designed to make living very comfortable and practical. The bathroom was very spacious with a heating system for towels and a massive shower head with enough room to move around at ease. Washing machine is in bathroom which we were so grateful for. The bed was super comfy hence why we slept in a couple of mornings. I liked that hand towels were provided in the toilet instead of paper towels. I also loved seeing that “Who gives a crap” toilet paper was stocked in the toilet. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge room in the evenings relaxing and soaking in the peaceful & tranquil atmosphere. Not far from here was the Snug Falls which we hiked to and that too was something not to be missed. The Bruny Island ferry is only 20 minutes away which we caught for a day trip over there. I could literally write a book about this place! Christiane was the most kindest and thoughtful host we’ve ever come across.

Beginning with the arrival. It's not shorthand but a good 8 minutes drive from the town of Snug. On that way you'll get the chance to stop for a walk to the Snug falls. On the other hand I have to mention the greeting. In that lovely place we had a nicely stuffed fridge, a loaf of fresh bread, as well as a variety of delicious cheeses and saisonal fruits. In addition you can choose from a selection of Tassi wines and beers for moderate prices. If you like the nightly croaking frogs to be the loudest voices in the area I'm sure you will love this place as I do.
