Seagrass Long Point

Beautiful location, delicious food, beautiful front of house staff- unfortunately the chef couldn’t apprehend the change of poached eggs to scrambled- meaning I missed out on a part of my dish. FOH staff very apologetic and understanding.

Such a lovely place! My only regret is that I haven't come sooner. Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty scone, great coffee. I am definitely coming back

A well-situated cafe with lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I went for breakfast and ordered poached eggs on sourdough - however, for the price it was an exceedingly small serve. My plate was $19 for one slice of toast, two small eggs and a sliver of (added) halloumi. Inflation gets us all eventually.

Still the nicest cafe in the Long Beach area in my opinion, I just wouldn’t expect the best value for money at the moment!

It was my second time stepping my foot into Sea Grass, unfortunately it's gonna be the last time. We were seated at a table next to the bar this time but soon we were asked to leave when we decided to move to another table (of course with the permission of a staff member). Apparently the person in charge today didn't approve any walk-in customers. She approached us and asked us to leave, when we suggested that we were only moving to another table after being seated, she insisted that we should leave and asked who the person was.she seemed very upset and ready to confront the other staff member. We were surprised and offended at the same time, but we decided to leave the place. I'd say she was probably overwhelmed by too many customers but what she did was wrong. I hope the restaurant owner can talk to the person in charge today, and show her how to treat customers properly with respect. Seagrass is such a reputable restaurant with a professional team, I don't think this kind of abusive behavior should be tolerated.

Nice location and view. I have had very friendly service when I have been. I have friends who rave about their, I have found it averagely good. Their food is a little on the expensive side, but good.

We ordered a chicken burger and pan-fried calamari, but they are cold and too tiny. If you are keen to order something else, make sure to ask when the kitchen is closing because they won't bother to let you know.
Two stars are for the view. You can go there for a coffee but not their food, is too expensive for what it is.

We went here for a birthdays party. The food was average at best for the price. We had arranged a cake and saw the kitchen staff picking up the slices with their bare hands instead of a server.

6 Diners. Suggested by family members. Meals came. Seafood chowder and seafood noodles were amongst the choices. Everyone started meals, my wife spat out the king prawns into a serviette, my son stopped eating his noodles and asked me to check his king prawns. All prawns had black leg and the smell of ammonia, made us feel nauseous, I took the prawns to the floor manager, I told him the problem, he showed little concern, looked at me with that ‘you are annoying me’ disdain. I told him to smell the prawns, he said nothing, I insisted, he brought the plate to his nose, his head snapped back, he woke up. I’ll let the chef know was his answer, he walked away, came back and told me that he could have the same meals replaced if I would like, seriously I said!
His next option was to void those two meals, my response was that he acknowledge how serious this situation was, he went back to the chef, came back and told me all food ordered would not be billed. We left never to return.
For a chef and maybe the owner to allow such substandard food service and unacceptable serving of putrified seafood is incomprehensible, not the least negligent. Luckily my family did not become I’ll.

It's pretty expensive honestly- lunch for 2 people runs over $100.00 and while the food is very good, lunch at the wood fired pizza place further down the beach can cost less than half that amount easily and still have water views. The pricing is the main consideration here.

Attended for a sit-down function. The room and tables were overcrowded, couldn't pull my chair in, or use my cutlery. The menu wasn't anything to write home about - meatballs for entree were cold, the meat for main was boiled, and the best lactose free dessert was a scoop of lemon sorbet.

There is no sound deadening. It was so loud and couldn't have enjoyable conversations.

Caught up with friends for a birthday celebration. Delicious food all round, friendly and attentive service. Will definitely be back

Great dining experience. Good service and nice view. We ordered the scallops and chips, the scallops were crispy but moist in the inside. The seafood pasta tasted not like any usual pasta sauce, mild taste and interesting texture of the pasta. A bit unusual but we enjoyed it. Nice hot and cold chocolate by the river view as well. The only thing was the frequent visit by two noisy miners ;)

Have to try their tumeric latte with esspresso shot. Spicy veggie burger is next level. View is unmatched

The ambience, food and service was fantastic.
I’ve ordered the catch of the day, it was Salmon, and it was perfectly done!

We enjoyed a very nice dinner over looking the water. Food was delicious. Great location and a nicely styled restaurant.

Just had the most relaxing lunch at Seagrass, what a spot amazing views, staff were friendly made us feel very relaxed. I had the Cauliflower and Quinoa salad which was super delicious and the best fish and chips we had in a very long time. We will be coming back.

Lovely views, fabulous food, fantastic service, there are a lot of stairs but there's a chair lift for those that are unable to walk the stairs
