Nice atmosphere while having your tea time with a very welcoming friendly staff. The variety of foods are great, and the portion of the meal is quite big and delicious. The prices are reasonably good.
Will come back whenever I can

Order came out wrong as staff got it incorrect. Had to pay extra for the correct order. Steak under cooked and cold. Salmon over cooked and dry.

Seafood platter, wasn't eatable fish was oily and soggy. Salad was less than good. Prawn cocktail, was just three prawns is a huge amount of Seafood sauce. My wife ordered medium cooked steak, and it was over cooked.

Came in for dinner my wife ordered $20 scallops when it came out the meal was not what we were expecting we were informed about the $20 schedule were last year's and been frozen if they were served up to your cat I reckon it would refuse to eat them, compared to the scallops in the higher price they were a bloody disgrace. The chef should be ashamed of himself for putting that rubbish on a plate

The chef need to learn to flatten the chicken on schnitzel. It was just a chicken breast was just crumbed then cooked. Loved the chicken schnitzel before there was disappointing after a long break.

Well priced accommodation.the older gentleman behind the bar/bottleshop could do with more smiling and focus on providing customer service.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and very quick food service given how busy they are. All in all, the food was good but the mixed grill wasn't good value @$45 The rissole looked like a baked spud and was so full of filler it tasted like sawdust (not that I've eaten sawdust but if I was to eat sawdust I imagine it would be similar in taste to the rissole) The steak was the small 150g steak from the $17 meals so I should have saved money and got the $17 steak. The remaining meals were all nice and good value, it was just that the mixed grill was not good value and the horrible "sawdust" rissole. As mentioned, all in all, still good overall meals for our group. Still happy to return, I'll just save $45 and not order the mixed grill.

Had a Friday night meal there battered Scollops, beautiful, only $20,00 ordering the meal takes longer than the delivery that is the only problem. Staff are great it does pay to book as its popular.

From the moment we arrived, we were looked after by the wonderful manager Dee who saw to all our needs.
Dinner in the restaurant was first-rate as was the service.
Our room was spotless, well presented and very comfortable.
I would stay here again without hesitation and I certainly would recommend it to friends.

A great spot to stay with well priced meals available without having to leave the site. The room was clean and very comfortable. Car parking at the door. Highly recommend.

Do yourself a favour and book the Apartment instead of the standard room, super clean, heaps of space and extra bathroom!

Slow service (over 1hr wait for meals) and slightly overcooked food set this otherwise good venue back to 3 stars only. It is a good settup, has a nice menu and good staff. I give credit that they where having issues with the Kitchen on my visit so will be looking forward to give this place a second chance on my next trip to Tassie. Overall enjoyable but nothing outstanding.

As promised I returned on night 1 of my 2nd Tassie visit. I am happy to increase the score to a full 5 stars with the return visit living up to all the descriptions given to me. Again the staff where wonderful however without the previous Kitchen issues for them, our meals where served in a timely manner (approx 20mins) and were cooked to.perfection. The parmi's moist and delicious and the steak (ordered rare) was cooked perfectly.

Am extremely glad I gave them a second shot. As this proves to me this is a great venue everyone should try. Well done guys and thanks for the amazing meal.

We stayed here for 3 nights from a Friday - Monday. Not once during this stay was the room service, we had to take our breakfast tray back to kitchen after we got back to hotel after being out all day, we had to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels, we enquired about housekeeping working the weekend we were told thay don't work at all by one member of staff then told they work Saturday from another so im not sure what happened. When we raised this point on checkout staff member was not concerned at all. I wouldn't go back to stay here, which is a shame cause the staff Friday night and Saturday night in the dining room were so nice and friendly and polite. Meals were nice and tasty, and a $17 menu was available for those who prefer a cheaper smaller meal.

Rude staff, young girl I suspect to be possibly 18 asks 24 year old special needs Lady for id and to make herself feel big and tough, she then demands that some one who is older than the server to leave.
I managed hotels in my youth and this was the worst discrimination I have personally witnessed, our family is considering taking this matter to the disability discrimination board in Canberra ACT.
As a result of the discrimination we will NEVER spend another dollar in your establishment.
We usually spend over$300 per visit.

We dropped in for lunch as a part of a school visit yesterday and can I say, the food was perfect. Generous portions, prompt service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The service was excellent. They were so nice and caring about their customers that they went out of their way to prepare a meal for us students on 18/11/19. I really recommend the pudding with a side of whipped cream, I really enjoyed the jiggliness of the pudding and the whipped cream to make the syrup taste even better. Sensational value for money, great food and lovely staff 10/10 venue. Grandfather has eaten there for longer than I have been alive and with the quality of grandma's cooking to match that says allot.

Had a $15 counter meal lunch, roast of the day. Lamb or Pork on the day. Friendly and prompt service and the food was excellent. A good menu selection inc deserts. Family oriented lounge bar environment.

The food and decor is very tired, nothing changes except for the prices. Service is slow, food coming out of the kitchen is slow. Otherwise not terrible.
