Delicious, very reasonably priced food, lovely service! High recommend- seafood pizza was incredible

I had a delicious vegetarian pizza cooked over a wood fire, the dough was excellent and lots of ingredients on the topping, thanks to the friendly staff

We went with a group of friends on a road trip and had pizzas, pasta, and salad. It was bloody fantastic. You could taste the love ️ in the food. The cashier was like a second mom.

We had take away tonight from Scorchers by the river and it was delicious. The flathead was so beautifully fresh, and the wedges had the perfect crunch. The pepperoni wood fired pizza was really good and I was very happy with my seafood marinara. The lady who answered the phone and served us (Storm I think her name was) was so happy and friendly. Highly recommend ️

Best pizza ever. People, if you are travelling through Orford then please do visit Scorchers and taste their firewood pizza and chai/coffee. Very yummy pizza with yummy toppings plus the service is very good.

After a full day of hiking with my friends, we happened to come across this place, & to our delight, were in for a treat on multiple fronts. We were very hungry, & also desiring an alcoholic beverage — both of which they didn’t disappoint. We ordered some pizzas, carbonara, both salads, fries, & wine. The curly chips were the highlight (even though everything was good, & yes I tried everything my friends ordered). We loved how soft the inside of the chips were & the slightly spicy lime aioli sauce was to die for. The atmosphere is nice & the staff very friendly. They did forget to bring out our chips, but upon reminding them they were apologetic & quick to correct. If I’m back in the area again I’ll look forward to returning for a bite & relaxed atmosphere to recharge. Thanks girls!

We were looking for a decent coffee and some food (1030ish).

We went here and saw a dog (Henry) with some people walking him who recommended the coffee and that this cafe does some good pizza and has complimentary dog bikkies.

Walked in and were greeted with a smile. Got the coffee and brekky added tomato and mushrooms.
The lady who was there said it would be a wait as she was on her own.
We got the coffees and then the food arrived. Value for money and so good absolutely nailing the eggs!

The coffee was one of the best we had while down in Tasmania.

Really do wish we had grabbed a pizza because the ones she was making smelt so good.

The place next door is super busy full of life so we went here and what a gem. Grill chicken is normally really hard for me to like or be impressed by, but this is the most succulent tender grilled chicken I have ever had. And the curly wedges were so light a fluffy. Great place.

Very friendly, and not pretentious staff. Good food, friendly staff, and they serve breakfast past 11.30, unlike the place next door, who refused us a late breakfast just before 11.30!

Travelling from Launceston, we had
booked this place for lunch three days in advance and arrived at the reception even 15 minutes early. We were informed that a new group had just entered and taken the table, hence were unable to seat us. Not a single apology and did not care at all. The two females at the reception lacked fundamental customer service principles. Without any advance notice we walked in to the cafe next door and were welcomed warmly.

Visited scorches pizza in Orford with my family after hearing great things from friends so had to try. Only to be let down! We were welcomed an seated which was lovely. But ended up waiting for over 40mins, for 2 pizzas! We weren't offered complimentary water to have at the table which clearly was available. We then continued to wait as other patrons who arrived were served there meals before us clearing there own tables, which were vacated by previous patrons also were served there meals first. When we finally received our pizzas the margarita pizza we got was over powered by garlic which I thought was strange as i didnt order the garlic pizza!? An the barbecue chicken pizza we got was well over cooked! The cheese was non existent? "Burnt! "an the chicken looked like cottage cheese? I do wish I had received the type of pizza's my friend's had told us about but today, I feel they really drop the ball on this one especially for the price!

The sisters and girls who run this gorgeous place were amazing. So friendly and helpful. We broke down and they helped in every way they could. Whilst waiting we had fav food and drinks. They kept checking in and were so lovely. A fabulous spot to visit. Will be back in a year or two. Make sure you visit this fabulous place x

Had a great meal with friends and family. The ladies behind the counter were rushed off their feet but the food was exceptional. We were the last to leave and one of the staff saw we were trying to take a group photo across the road and came and took the photo. We highly rate our dining experience at Scorchers!

It was an absolute delight to stumble across this nugget of a restaurant. I'll admit i did not have high expectations, but was thoroughly impressed with the food (wow!) and the service was excellent - such lovely ladies running the place and they were more than hospitable. We ended up coming back a further 3 times. Thank you for such a wonderful experience

We were overwhelmingly impressed by how good Scorchers is now! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the fish and chips especially were the best I've had in ages - beautifully moist flathead and impossibly crispy batter, with delicious crunchy chips and a yum lime and chilli aioli (with some actual heat to it) on the side. We couldn't finish the pizza as the fish and chips serving was so generous, but the base was beautifully thin with the perfect amount of topping - very much looking forward to eating the rest for dinner tomorrow night!

Ignore the old reviews from when it was under the previous management - the team at Scorchers now definitely deserve five stars!

How on Earth is this not rated 4.5 and above? Delicious pizzas - best ever, friendly staff, superb location, excellent price. My family and I couldn't have been happier. You will not be disappointed.

We just stop by at the beginning of the evening. Didn't expect much. Ohhhh.my Gosh! What a great surprise.
The best pizza I have had in Australia. The pasta was really nice as well. Great flavor, fresh ingredients. The dough was to die for. The friendly service was a plus. And the place it's nice and cozy. Can't wait to go back. Thank you guys for the lovely experience.
