Scamander Tourist Park

Had a really great visit here! The budget twin cabin room had everything we could have needed and more! The room was super tidy and in great shape, staff was so accommodating and kind and helped us check in late. The room was kind of cold but we had a great A/C unit and extra blanket.

Has good grass camping spots. Need upgrade the amenities facilities and more cleaning. Bbq needs cleaning.

Facilities are well below standard. Toilet doors couldn't close properly some had no locks. Tiles falling off the walls. Badly in need of maintenance. Cleaning left a bit to be desired. Shame as in a nice location. Seemed to cater for cabins & not vans.

We stayed here for one night during our trip down the East coast of Tasmania. We stayed in one of the units and was impressed with the facilities. Our unit had a good working kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and microwave. It also had a small dining area, good size bedroom and decent bathroom. The unit was nice and clean when we arrived and we overall enjoyed our stay. The only possible complaint I can think of is that the bed mattress we slept on was a bit too hard for our liking, but it's a minor issue if we consider the price and the facilities we had. There is also a nice camping area at this park with BBQs and other amenities. There is also a store right next to the tourist park which makes shopping for basic necessities easier.

Plenty of different camping options but could do with another amenities block up the top, also some more power and water sites

It's to dear for what it has to offer toilets showers laundry & kitchen poor not clean also motorbikes & rides being unlicensed office quite often unattended

We have a permanent site at this park. It's a relaxed an amazing spot. Park is well maintained. Very child and pet friendly. Highly recommended.
