Salamanca Terraces

Large serviced modern apartment that is fully self contained and close to everything in Salamanca with a quick walk. In a quiet area. Super clean and well equipped. Good sized bathrooms. Friendly staff. Close to Battery Point if you want to go for a walk.

The Salamanca Suites is right in Battery Point and close to many restaurants, pubs, and harbour. Our apartment was clean, fresh, and modern. Parking right in front and checking in was quick.

Disappointing to say the least, if you stay here, watch the pricing it could range from $300 a night to $180 a night for the same room depending whom you book through so investigate beforehand. The rooms felt cheap and nasty, a shower over a bathtub that felt unloved (old looking tap wear), the tap dripped all the time (my pet hate), there was a piece of rolled up toilet paper on the roof, the tiniest piece of paper for the room instructions, not a lovely folder. The only thing going for this place is the location to the Salamanca market, which is what we were there for.

This is our second trip to Salamanca suites, we like the location, close proximity to the Salamanca markets and many eateries along the waterfront - we had a 2 bedroom unit, the units have been renovated since our last stay and are very luxurious with well appointed kitchen new floor coverings electric blinds, air conditioning in all rooms lovely bathrooms with a rain showers and plenty of hot water! And a king sized extremely comfortable bed - the kids said their singles were comfortable as well. Off street parking was excellent and definitely would stay here again.

Good location close to markets and has customer parking. Efficient staff with keycard access.

Poor value for money. Paid seasonal pricing at 680 for 2 nights without breakfast. Basically just the bed! Quite surprised after a wonderful week in Tasmania including island stays.

Nice fairly clean place (cutlery and bathroom were dirty) could of done with a king or queen bed not 2 singles pushed together.

Regardless of the quality of the rooms when you get to the suites there’s a little sign that tells you to carry your bags another 50 meters up a hill to another place to checkin then carry your bags back down the hill. For a modern city and establishment it’s a stupid system that beggars belief

A wonderful stay at Salamanca Terraces. The studio apartment was perfectly appointed with a small kitchen and all we could have needed. Very pleasant staff, nothing to much trouble. Perfectly positioned in Salamanca and near Battery Point.

My favourite place to stay! Always great service, excellent apartments and everything you need. So close to all the bars, restaurants, and the city. Highly recommend!

The place is hot. The keys is unbelievable every single time we're out we have to call them when we get back because keys doesn't work in the carpark and the door.

Really wonderful service for apartments attached to a grand old heritage hotel. Good restaurant and very convenient to Salamanca place galleries, restaurants, pubs and cafes. Good park with stunning views next door.

We had a suite for 4 people and found it very spacious, walking distant to shops and wharf, market, the only issues we had was the bed rooms need an air conditioner or a cooling of some sort, the vents in bathroom could need a clean, other wise we found it very good and would stay again,

It's great place central to everything and staff and housekeepers are so friendly lovely clean rooms.

Good clean, well appointed accommodation near the Salamanca markets. Right near pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants and the waterfront. Free onsite parking. Would go back again.

Wasn't warned that eewhad to go to a different hotel to check-in at 11pm at night with a baby, Good location right in Salamanca.
Whole place smelt like stale cigarette.booked the penthouse suite, it was very outdated. Could do with a good clean and revamp, was a little dissatisfied with the $300+ a night price tag. Bathroom floor tiles grout were black, need a good scrub, bad smell in the rooms even when we aired out the apartment during the days. Beds were very uncomfortable and the curtains needed a good clean. I think there would be better value for money accommodation in the area

I didn't personally stay here but a friend of mine did when they came down from the main land, I went over a few times and the staff would always be friendly and let me in and escort me to the room to ensure that I was meant to be there.good service and security

Good budget place with most suitable prices. I would strongly recommend it to those who travel with friends like 2+2. You will save.

Very impressed with Salamanca Terraces! We stayed here for 5 nights with our toddler for our self driving tour of hobart and surrounds. The rooms were impeccably clean, any requests were dealt with quickly and professionally.

Fantastic location, right on battery point near lots of great restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again.
