Salamanca Fresh

I found salamanca fresh in Huonville to have some truly substandard vegetables. Sure, they had some fresh and lively looking produce through the middle at store entrance but the summer vegetables (considering it is summer) were the saddest looking lot i have seen in Tasmania thus far. Yet the IGA prices still stand high and proud. Long life milk $4 - twice the price for the same brand around the corner. I do try to support small and local but not at exorbitant prices. I simply felt a bit sad, and considerably poorer as I had always thought highly of Salamanca Fresh from experience in Hobart.

For one, I like to support local, avoid the Duopoly, unless absolutely necessary. Sakamanca Fresh also has brands I like and are not available elsewhere.

Went in this morning 0810hrs to put lotto on and do a bit of shopping. Lotto counter not open. Walked out at 0815hrs. This is the 3rd time I've been in to do lotto and 3rd time had problems. Won't be shopping there again. Will do lotto at Geeveston and shopping at Woolies from now on.

Great place, great staff and fresh produce. And a wonderful new Manager. He's been their best move yet.

A great supermarket. It's a posh IGA with good customer service. All kinds of yummy food from delicatessen to veges and breads as well as normal staples.

A very good smaller grocery in Huonville. It has a good range of groceries - the deli is well displayed - the shelves well stocked and the staff are very good.

Always phenomenal customer service! Great range of products, good specials and quality fresh produce.

Great store for the caravans. Some quick meals like lasagna, chicken pie slices and salon cakes. Lots of variety.

Clean & well stocked. Good selection of fresh fruit, veg, meat, cheeses & huge deli selection including cakes & pastries. Friendly helpful staff. Supports locals.

Great salads and deli, fruit and veg so much fresher than up the road at woolworths, and often cheaper too. Friendly staff.
