Sakura reviews
27This is my adult child's favourite place to get laksa in Hobart, so I had to try when I came to visit them. The chicken laksa isn't as great as my usual place but it was very nice and I enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and happy to package up my leftovers to take with me. The prices were great too!
All the stir fries were oily, my char kway teow were salty. Food was average, all up costed $75 for 4 meals and 2 drinks. Not worth.
Delicious food at a very reasonable price ($35 total for two dishes). Staffs and owner is very nice.
I wasn't a sushi person but not anymore, the only thing I don't like is that the sushi platters are not always consistent, since they give you sometimes more and sometimes less, no idea why.
In my opinion, Sakura has the best affordable sushi in town. Their rice-to-filling ratio is top-notch (especially their tuna and avocado, it has never disappointed). I definitely recommend you have a bite to eat from there!
We stumbled across this place
Wow great find clean tidy food top class for little price
Thanks guys
Nice concept that they chop off the sushi into small pieces and play Asian songs. However, the sushi were too much rice and bland so not to my liking.
Excellent as usual. I have eaten here countless times and I have never been disappointed.
Every time I go it's excellent, can never fault it.
Very nice place. The food was delicious and more than enough as if you are hungry. Staff very friendly! 100 % recommended!
Short wait times. Excellent value for money, excellent recipes and chefs. Consistent for over a decade and always on my list of must go places when visiting Hobart.
Been in twice this week because it is freshly hand made sushi to order and delicious! Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time.
Friendly service, sushi was fresh and quite tasty. We ordered take away and food was ready in about 10 minutes.
Good personal, good food for a good price! What more do you want! Loved it.highly recommend it.
We came at lunchtime on a public holiday. It was super busy. Ordered easy and food came super fast. Service was pretty basic. Clean simple Japanese. I got the duck noodle soup which was surprisingly amazing. With their generous serve of pork buns made for a quick tasty lunch. I thoroughly recommend and will eat here many more times.
We had countless cooked meals made to order at Sakura.we stayed in Tasmania for a year and were sorry to only find this place towards the end of our stay.we loved every single meal we had there for lunch at reasonable prices.tasty Singapore Noodles & more. Next time we are in Tasmania we surely visit again.enjoy the good food.
You will get what you pay for, which means you wouldn't regret in terms of the amount of money you pay as it's reasonable price. However, it wouldn't be impressive or fantastic. It is nice quick-easy-low price meal, no more than that. You can imagine taste perhaps, as it's just like the one you could possibly get it from the food court.
She salmon sushi is very good. A bit disappointed that I was charged 15c for wasabi and 15c for soy sauce. Also they don’t have discounts for specials for late services like other sushi places
The hoiken noodles had a burnt charcoal taste and there were too much cabbage
This in my humble opinion is the best Sushi restaurant in Hobart. Food is fresh and anything can be made to order. They do some amazing hot dishes - my favs are crispy noodles with chicken, wonton soup and also the fried rice. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
I've been coming here for 10+ years. Delicious, fast, great portion sizes, and they'll happily customise any dish for you. It's probably not the most authentic place, but great for quick Asian comfort food. And they have Hello Panda!
