Rosny Farm Arts Centre & Rosny Barn reviews
8Great arts hub in a beautiful garden setting. There are several upcoming exhibitions and live music.
Beautifully restored building. Festival of voices allows the incredible earthy acoustics to shine.grounds are simple.delightful and elegant for functions and social gatherings
Stunning and worth a visit.during the day or entertaintment evening
They put on various art exhibitions thru' the year, mostly free. They still have not put up a sign for people to see as they drive into Eastlands car park, so most of us have no idea there is something on. Perhaps like many, they just leave it to the internet savy, which is a shame.
I am little biased about this as I can trace my ancestors back to Richard Morgan, who it is believed built the barn here. It is a significant piece of Tasmania's heritage. It is now uses a a gallery and exhibition space. The Cottage has been beautifully restored and is full of artefacts from the early to mid 20th century. It is free to visit
This was a fantastic venue for the Clarence Jazz Festival. The art gallery is worth a visit other times
It is all that is left of a larger property, from the 1800s but it is a well preserved piece of Tasmania's history. They recently renovated and preserved the barn and it is now available for hire if you have a function. Entry is free and while it won't take long to see everything, it is worth while.
Very cute! Lovely grounds and stunning heritage buildings, all very well looked after. The artwork in the barn was really beautiful, and featured tasmanian female artists. Great little nook to explore after doing some shopping at Eastlands
I went to Clarence jazz festival this year, it was my first time, dancing, grab couple drinks and yeahh it was fun!
Location is easy to find, exactly next to Eastland shopping center, huge parking lot there!
They always do it every year some time around February. Don’t forget to bring ur friends or family.
