Rosebery Caravan Park reviews
21 Nice grassy unpowered site. Amenities are 70s style but very very clean.
Drawbacks: dryer I used swallowed $4 and after accepting another $5 clothes were still damp so I paid $9 not to dry my clothes
My laundry bag with a pair of socks in it was stolen from the laundry. Not the owners fault but keep an eye on your things in communal areas.
Modern cabins with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Picturesque location. With mountain views beside a little waterfall.
Would definitely recommend
Delightful cabins modern and spacious. Had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Picturesque location with mountain views beside a waterfall.
Just lovely
On a recent 4wd trip, one of the vehicles became disabled on the montezuma falls 4wd track. It was after 8pm and needing accomodation I contacted Rosebery caravan park and spoke with Phillip. I explained the circumstances, Phillip was great and although not on site, took my very reasonable payment for 5 cars and explained where to park and setup once we arrived. Terrific local service. Thank you for helping us out.
Nice, peaceful caravan park just 5 mins walk from Rosebery Town Centre. Was easy to book spot over the phone for me and my tent. Toilet was clean and shower was hot.
Only $20 for powered site a d it was clean. Staff was very friendly and recommended few places to visit around the town. Thank you for your service
We managed to get in for boxing day after a long day at Cradle Mountain. The was a patch over to one side which catches the morning sun we pitched up there, very nice. Good clean (older style) showers with the best hot water. Pub within walking distance also very good. Take away shop across from the pub for emergency dinners very friendly cheep prices (Pizza night on Sundays). Worth a stop over to refresh.
This is an old-school caravan park that more caters to the local miners than tourists these days. That's OK, we've all got to stay in business. Still, the sites are generally spacious and uncluttered. Lots of moss and water, this is the west coast so there's usually a bit of mud around too. Amenities, if you use them, are close to all sites. There are a few nice "hidden" sites that offer privacy and shade from both the sun and wind. Local scenery is somewhat spectacular.:) A nice stay, and I come here often.
Cheap. Powered site in our motorhome was fine. Amenities were fair, hot shower. Coin operated laundry, but hard to get coins. A lot of short-term accommodation bunks. Ok for a quick night, but not a destination for a young family. In need of an upgrade. No shop, about a 10 minute walk to shops.
Great quiet park who fitted my group of three camper trailers in with zero notice.
Facilities are in need of an update, however they are spotlessly clean.
Lousy caravan park. A large portion of the sites aren’t level and are very muddy. The facilities are also not worth the price. Could probably get away with $10 a night for an unpowered site, not $30.
Redeeming factor is that staff were very nice.
Very bad and dirty with BED BUGS!
Only got half of the price back and the boss was very unfriendly on the phone.
Close to local swimming pool, waterfalls and main shops. Lots of nice picnic spots and places to explore. The water tastes much better here than where I'm from.
Cabins are pretty basic but clean. Not even full quantity of cutlery e.g 1 fork for a double bed cabin. Bed a little slumpy. Linen very clean. Oven, microwave & TV - good. Expensive for what it offered.
Ruth is really lovely. This is a very basic park, but her small touches (like flowers in the bathroom) were beautiful. $35 per night powered site
Nice clean comfortable cabins, super location, Sandy the manageress is very friendly and helpful.
Partner and I stayed in a little cabin for 1 night. Comfortable.
But needs more attention in the cleanliness department.
Glass shelf in bathroom was disgraceful. Toothpaste and muck on it. Ants all over the bench. I stripped the bed in the morning and the doona had blood stains and happy time stains. Pillow and protective covers also stained.
$110.a night is too dear check in not till 4.
Could be made more inviting to guests.
Gardens. Ect. Laundry facilities are dirty. Washing machine s were very dirty.
Dryers had alot of lint in filter.
It wouldn't take much to clean it up. I'm a cleaner myself and I know what should be acceptable. And really this wasn't.
Lady Staff. Smiley and nice.
If I could give less than one star I would. Don't even bother. It's an overpriced mud pit. We couldn't find an even spot to camp that wasn't a mud pit, and with mud and water comes bugs. The facilities were dirty and unclean. We called ahead and were ensured a powered site with water and when we arrived the power was not working and we had to walk through lots of mud to reach water. There's no order to this camp and no marked spots so everybody parks wherever. They still tried charging us for a powered site despite not having been able to use power. My best advice; don't.
Looks dilapidated and 2nd rate.however the manageress is super friendly and VERY helpful.the cabins are spotlessly clean.the beds are very comfy.and the hot water is fast and hot and its close to town
